Vaskos has good meat sauce for plates and mac salad no question but the portion vs price is not making sense for a chicken tender considering these should not be called a chicken anything they were so flat and small and 3 of them. To give it a fair try I took a bite of the Tyson style nugget thing and it was no - quality, my dog didn't even want them. I was very disappointed by this and the size of the plates in general. Seems like it’s family ran and they were all super sweet, i got a garbage plate and it’s got to be one of the best ones i’ve ever had! super cool designs inside and in a best area in roc!!

Easily the best plate in the city. Everything on the menu is consistently delicious and made with real care. The flavors are always spot on, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. The staff are incredibly kind and hardworking—always welcoming, always dependable. I’ve been eating their food since the Irondequoit Hots days, and it’s remained a staple for me ever since. A true local gem.
