OMG!!! I recently moved from south Florida to Western NY and have been missing a lot of the food I have grown accustomed to; one being Oxtails. I've attempted several times to prepare them myself but, could never get it right! A friend told me about People's Choice, so I gave it a try! All I can say is the oxtails mac n cheese, and collard greens were OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!DELICIOUS❤️ The owner was very nice and graciously gave me some tips as how to prepare them(oxtails) myself but, I think I will bite the bullet, make the sacrifice and take the drive into the city, as I am sure I could NOT do them justice compared to what I ordered and devoured from the People's Choice! Thank you Sooooooo much❤️

I usually love this spot, today I decided to order food on Uber eats because I saw it pop up. I order a jerk chicken combo thinking I'm going to get greens & yams like I saw in the picture. When it gets here not only did the Uber driver tamper with my food. But there's some cabbage and mixed vegetable stuff & Mac and cheese. It turned my stomach and completely turned me off to the whole plate. I have way more macaroni and cheese then cabbage and vegetable mix. People need to learn to stop fixing plates the way they want them. I don't even want this food. If I do eat here again I will call and order or come in. I don't know who thought that mixed vegetables and cabbage would be a good side but you guys need to go back to the drawing board. Waste of money

I usually go with jerk chicken salad, but today I tried the jerk chicken with yams and collard greens! The food is absolutely amazing. I’m actually writing this review in the middle of eating. The jerk sauce is one of a kind! I would recommend this place to everyone. The owner is very kind and welcoming. The food tastes very homemade and definitely fills you up and leaves your stomach satisfied!

The owner is truly black girl magic ✨ She aims to please and is so sweet and humble. I enjoy speaking with her she’s accomplished so much and is a huge staple in the neighborhood. I don’t eat macaroni and cheese but I do from here lol my absolute favorite and recommend every single person to try the jerk chicken salad and her sauce is phenomenal chefs kiss!!!

My husband ordered food from there and it was our first time there. We ordered jerk, chicken and curry goat. They were out of everything and we did not get curry goat. We got jerk chicken for both plates. The food was disgusting no flavor the chicken was dry. The rice and peas was not rice and peas. It was rice jerk sauce, no flavor. In fact, it was barbecue sauce, I’ll never go there again. I never want food from there again. It was just bad. She needs to hire an authentic Jamaican cook and take time to cook the food right because it was terrible and nobody should be served anything like that. I worked in a Jamaican restaurant for five years and this definitely is not Jamaican food.
