I grew up on NYC pizza. I've moved around the country in the last 20 years. While some of the pizza in Rochester is pretty good, it's not NYC style pizza. I heard The Pizza Stop had authentic New York pizza. I stopped in today and wasn't dissapointed. Beautiful thin crust with a little bit of a flop. The sauce is on point. Best pizza I've had in 20 years. This will be my go to spot. Give it a try, you won't be dissapointed. Great pizza, thank you!
Great location with tons of parking. Quick service. Among the best real pizza I've had in my 32 years in rochester. I've never been here before today and I am stunned and amazed at the perfection of the simple joy of a hot regular slice.
The place is small. Couple tables and some window seats. No public bathroom. The price seems high for pizza. I got a 14 inch with 3 toppings. It came to nearly $30. No drinks, no wings, just one 14 inch pizza, $30. It's hard to believe flour, a cup of sauce, 2 cups of cheese, and double pepperoni cost almost $30 to make. The only way I can justify that price is if the employees are getting paid $20/hour
