I've had pizza at restaurants, bars, food trucks, venues, and many, many random places. Not only locally, but every where in my travels. I was never a fan of deep dish style pizzas - I'm a true NY thin pizza lover. You know what I'm talking about. The kind you fold like a taco and you have to do the "lean over" as you take a bite, so the oil doesn't drip from the pepperoni cups down your hands and all over yourself - Mmmm. Then...that came to a halting stop when I stepped foot in "Pizza Wizard". Their pizza is almost addictive. That crust ! OMG that crust !! FYI - They did get the 'Best Pizza' award in the Rochester "City" magazine. KUDO's Pizza Wizard, now can you please make a 'Crust' flavored pizza, because the flavor of the crust alone should have have a spot light. To everyone else, you need to check it out for yourself - I don't care if you're not a deep dish style pizza lover, just try it.

Ordered the Zinger and a Caesar salad for take out. The pizza was good but not life changing or anything. Really liked the combo of toppings and the hot honey added something extra you don’t see in regular chain pizza. The Caesar salad was VERY good. A thinner dressing that was tangy and clearly house made really blew me away! We ordered one meal and had enough food each eating 1/4 pizza slices and half the salad so we’ll have it for lunch again today. Thanks for a great meal.

Loved Pizza Wizard! The atmosphere is low key and fun and the pizza is really enjoyable (I had a couple of squares). These are thick, Detroit-style slices. While thick, the dough isn't dense. Instead it's light and airy and formed a nice crispy crust. I loved the toppings as well, I had the buffalo chicken and the BBQ chicken. Will definitely go back next time I'm in town.

Quirky, fun place with unique square-cut deep dish pizza with thick, soft fluffy crust and crispy edges but also traditional slices available sometimes. At least one vegan variety of slices available at all times, it seems. Plenty of vegan and GF options on their menu. I love their pizza so much! Different from the usual pizza place type pizza.I only ever come in for a slice (which is about $3.50) so I can't speak to their full pizzas or anything. There's never a wait when I go, about 11 or 12 on a weekday. A bummer they're closed on Monday and Tuesday. I wish they were 7 days a week.Vegetarian options: Vegan offerings too, including pizza slices ready to go.Dietary restrictions: GF options in at least the cookies they have.Parking: Very little parkingWheelchair accessibility: No steps to enter
