Rude person at the counter. The bottom of a pizza in a couple of spots was charred unevenly cooked.

Old crusty stale slices. The shop on Monroe is much better.

Don't go there for the "Fish fry" they told me it doesn't exist a month ago and the sign is still there

Absolutely delightful first experience. From calling in, to finishing my last bite. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and in good humor. Not to mention this is the best pizza I have had in Rochester.I can't wait to try more.

If you haven’t stopped by Pontillo’s Mt. Hope lately…you are missing a lot of entertainment and really great pizza. The owner and staff Roberto were a ton of fun and did I mention the pizza was amazing! A neighborhood staple for sure! Great customer service!

They basically stole my money. I ordered online. Got my confirmation and everything. Got an email receipt and all that. Then I went there to pick up and they told me they never received my order. I showed them my receipt, order confirmation and bank statement. They said there's nothing they could do and said they were closing so I had to leave. At the end of the day I gave them around $30 for NOTHING.

I like that they have slices, They remind me of New York style pizza. however, the last time I was in there, it seemed that I had a piece from the day before because it was like cardboard. It was the first time it had happened, so I didn't complain about it.

Good customer service the person who answered the phone was very nice and helpful. Going in to get my food they made me feel welcomed talking and interacting with me. The food was hot and good my baby loved it. We will be back soon

The only regret I have is not ordering from them sooner. They have an awesome thin crust pizza and juicy wings. Finally found my weekly go to for ordering out. Thank you guys for being so cool, friendly and informative!

Never in my life have I had the owner of a business tell me to go f myself over the phone. I've never had a worse experience ordering a pizza in my life. Big shout out to Ron for that...

Here’s the interaction I had at about 9:15 after googling “pizza near me” and seeing this store’s open until 10:00:Me: [Calls store]Employee: “Pontillo’s!“Me: “Hi - can I place an order for delivery, please?”Employee: “No.”Me: “Oh, alright… your listing said you were open till 10:00.”Employee: “Well, yeah it’s after 9:00 right now, so…”Me: “So, are you taking pickup orders, then?”Employee: “No.”Me: …Employee: “Yeah, nah, I’m the only one here, so…”Me: “So are you closed, then?”Employee: “Well, yeah, technically.”Me: “So… why’d you answer the phone?”Employee: “Well, uh… someone from U of R might call with like a three thousand dollar order, maybe.”Me: “So, you are open?”Employee: “Ok, yeah, have a nice night.” [hangs up phone]Please update your posted hours of operation

Wow. Waited two hours to get our food delivered when they said it would be an hour. Called after 1hr 15 min and they made up some excuse that they didn't have my phone number. They had my address why didn't they just knock? Said it was going back out for delivery so I figured they remade the food. Food showed up freezing cold and soggy. Pontillos in Bushnell's Basin is great but the Mt. Hope location is awful. Order wings from Exchange Bar & Grill instead of you live in Corn Hill.
