My workplace had a party this past Saturday evening at this restaurant and it was absolutely amazing! The food was spectacular! Liza took care of us all evening and she was absolutely amazing too! I highly recommend this place.

This place is our favorite spot for the tastiest and reasonably priced breakfast in the area! We deeply appreciate that their kitchen uses ingredients mostly from LOCAL farmers, and the variety of dishes is carefully crafted to represent the ROCHESTER. Very delicious, whatever you order. Staff is very attentive. Must try if you are in the area.

Parking: Saturday morning is very likely to be busy, so plan ahead.

Love this place. The food, service and atmosphere are outstanding. The chef is the hardest working dude in the industry. Get in here to try Provisions. And the bread from Flower City Bakery is the best in town.

Just absolutely dreadful. Bacon was meh for the half a strip they put on it, bagel was chewy, and i think they used a quarter of an egg for the entire sandwich. Stop being cheap, do better, be a man

If you have visited the ROC Farmer’s market but have not yet tried Public Provisions, you are missing out. I stopped by for a Caramel Macchiato to sip while shopping the market. The space was warm and inviting and the service was excellent.

I decided to treat myself to brunch after picking out my vegetables for the week and the server recommended the “Biscuits & Gravy” from the specials board.

The dish was excellent. The gravy was flavorful and surprisingly light. The biscuit was thick with fluffy layers and the our surface had that perfectly crisp crunchy crust. The sunny-side-up egg perched on top was delicious with that clear sheen of an egg cooked to perfection. Watching the yolk ooze into the gravy I knew the first night would be delightful. I almost requested a spoon to ensure I enjoyed every drop of the gravy yet the biscuit portion was exactly enough to enjoy every savory bite. As I mentioned above, the gravy was light and creamy and a welcome change to more gloppy fare I’ve been served under the guise of breakfast. The house brew coffee was excellent. Top marks on all categories. I’ll be back. You should check it out.

My husband and I sat at the counter for over 10 minutes without being greeted. Meanwhile, another customer came in and sat 3 seats down from us at the counter and was immediately greeted by a server. As he placed his order with that server another server listened in and started making the drinks and served the customer....then ANOTHER customer came in and they were also greeted and served by both servers simultaneously. All this time we sat their patiently waiting for service that never came. I tried to get someone's attention, he made eye contact with me, then looked away and continued laughing and joking with the other server. We ended up walking out and going somewhere else.

Perfect experience. Got a glass of prosecco (they have it on tap)! And the falafal salad - it was perfectly prepared, the dressing was spot on delicious. I will be back! xo

Prompt, attentive service - all 6 of us LOVED our food! The Biscuits and Gravy was just like how I make it - more sausage than gravy.

The fries ("chips") are fantastic. Both entrees were quite good. The Paper Crane, PP's signature drink, was smooth, tasty & refreshing.

Being lazy, old farts we appreciate the easy, close, free parking and lack of stairs to navigate.

All this for a very reasonable price is why we went back on our anniversary, rather than our usual of trying a new place.

My only ding on food was that the Maple Bacon Ice Cream unexpectedly had cinnamon; which I found off-putting in that flavor profile.

Parking: Plenty of spots across the lane at vendor overhang of public market.

Wheelchair accessibility: Do not use one, but no steps. Possibly a curb that would have a ramp nearby.
