This place was so unsanitary I asked for a refund and left. The place was packed with a line far out so I was hopeful...The cashier was coughing up phlem the entire time I was in the building. Not only was she coughing up a lung right in our faces, she was handling the cups so that whatever she had, could transfer right to us. I watched her touch the registers, cough into her hands and elbows, then touch the rims and even PUT HER FINGERS inside the cups before moving them to where the baristas where preparing drinks. I asked the barista if I could have a different cup due to the person coughing and touching the inside of my cup. THE BARISTA went TO THE CASHIER and asked her to grab me a new cup. The cashier actually put her fingers inside multiple cups as a means to pick them up and make room for my new cup. It absolutely made me sick. I asked for a refund and left. Now 3 weeks later I never received my refund. WOULD NOT recommend this place at all. In fact, I will be back this weekend to see about my refund in person.
I think this a great “3rd space” for anyone who likes a busy cafe :) the crispy pesto sandwich was delicious, they have a nice area for kids to play at, lots of board games and the bathrooms were clean! On a Sunday afternoon I wouldn’t come here if you want quiet but if you like the white noise of people it’s a great space :)
I love the environment here but the food I ordered was awful. The bread was too hard to eat and my friends ricotta toast was also too hard to eat. Disappointing but would try again
Our online order was confirmed at 8:58am to be picked up and ready at 9:29am. When I arrived at 9:29am the store was not busy and they had not begun my order. Order elsewhere
I always enjoy bringing my kids to this place. The staff there are always very kind and the food is really great. How they recommend!
My daughter and I’s favorite place to have coffee and breakfast!
A person in our party clearly ordered but the cashier missed it. They had to reorder, forcing them to eat their meal after the rest of the party finished. You would have thought they would have rushed the order. They had to ask for a fork. At least they offered half off but it should have been fully comped. Very disrespectful. The cashier just said, “my bad.” Last time we go to Imagination Cafe.
Just discovered this gem in Rochester and instantly jumped to one of my top places to visit! The shaken espresso was DELICIOUS! I’m excited to try other coffees. The breakfast sandwich was yummy, plan to try a panini or wrap next time. All staff members were extremely kind and calm under pressure- a line formed multiple times and they all worked together which was nice to see! There is a kids corner with TONS of toys! My 4 year old enjoyed playing for hours. It was great to discover a place where adults can enjoy themselves just as much as their kids can. There are lots of seating options, and it’s spacious so you’re not on top of other guests. A very welcoming environment. Bathrooms were very clean as well. I wish they had two computers running to take orders, I think that would help with the speed of service, especially if you’re just popping in to grab a coffee on the go. The signage/wording of service times was a little confusing (breakfast availability/lunch availability/etc.) The menu says breakfast is until 10:30am but then was told that’s just for the egg bites by an employee so it was just a hair confusing. Nonetheless this is a must go spot!! As a coffee lover I’m so happy to find a local spot to support! As a mom, I’m over the moon to find a spot where my child is welcome and I can meet up with friends and bring him along!
Just found this coffee shop a week ago after being displaced, now permanently, from Hurricane Helene in Asheville, NC. I have been to more coffee shops than I can count on 5 hands….after being here twice, it’s absolutely one of my favorites! The little store up front, the coffee, and the gluten free & vegan cookies they sell are both worth every penny. I haven’t tried the food yet, but that’s next. I’ve already introduced the place to local family and friends. I look forward to my visits now to this side of town.

The food was great, but when I asked for any of their side dishes, they said they didn't have any. Decided not to make any that day.

The drip/regular “coffee” is a misnomer. It is better described as “hot water with a touch of the essence of coffee”. Better coffee has been served at gas stations and corner stores. Perhaps someone forgot the beans or maybe the beans were not even ground. Whole coffee-bean rinse water would also be an accurate description of what I had. Complex drinks were not sampled; however, I do not believe that any amount of syrups and sugars could make up for their coffee.
Salad and a panini were ordered and were unremarkable. I will note that I have had better prepackaged salads from Costco.
