It's a neat bar with great staff! But smells SO BAD. Week after week and without fail, this place smelled like a massive, dirty hamster cage that was left stewing in its own filth for wayyy too long until someone came along and just poured a strong chemical cleaner all over it. Recreo also has painted floors that are SO STICKY. You will audibly hear people's shoes getting stuck as they walk. I'm wondering if the floor cleaner is eating away at the paint or if it's just old booze & gunk. I did have a good time here, despite this, but I can't recommend it.

He even sent me a picture of the receipt that wasn't signed and I always sign my receipts. I wouldn't be surprised if they do this without people even knowing. I wouldn't go here again and don't recommend anyone going here unless they pay cash only.

Love this bar! The drinks are amazing, great music, love the atmosphere and the fun variety of games add extra entertainment making it the perfect bar to hang out at. Staff are wonderful and extremely attentive. I would highly recommend checking it out!

Hosted my fiance's surprise 30th birthday here, could not have gone better. Mike the manager was super helpful, made the process smooth, and made us feel at ease. I worked with Isabella on the email and booking side and again was very helpful! They graciously let us take our time to say goodbye to guests and helped us clean up despite there being a lot of people at that point in the bar (though earlier in the evening for a good while we had the place to ourselves which was also cool!) Thank you all!

I was going to the bathroom (which for reference is just a 1 stall room) with 3 of my friends in the women’s room and the two women bartenders (they both had long brown hair, around 5’2-5’5ish) butted the line and started slamming on the bathroom door and screaming at us to get out and somehow managed to open the door while someone was on the toilet. I’m pretty sure the lock does not work either, or they might have been able to open via an employee key or something. We had been in there for about 3 minutes. When I tried to close the door while my friend was peeing, and told them someone was on the toilet, they continued to resist against me and open the door. Finally I was able to close it and lock it again. When we walked out I looked to see who it was, and immediately recognized them from the two women who were behind the bar serving drinks. They started throwing hands in the air and yelling at us. I’m not really sure what provoked this inappropriate and disturbing behavior but I was disgusted to see that it was the bartenders. I’m not sure what type of substance they were on, but they were definitely not in a state to be working. Something needs to be done about this, or I will continue to copy and paste this review. Very disappointing and quite disturbing.

One of their main cocktails had orange juice, which they didn't have. Another called for guava juice, which they also didn't have. Drinks were ok. We mainly visited for skee ball, which was fun.

Please note, this review is from but one visit, in Oct 2022. The owners have effectively taken a small place downtown and made it into a unique, fun place downtown. The misnomer is where they mention "dive bar," since you will find NO over-commercialized booze at all - far from it! Only speciality, small-but-great indie brands of libations...but really, that's better, right? We went especially to hear Random Accents play, and they of course did GREAT. But also, their playing got me into the bar, which I enjoyed. And this was without even trying out the smash room yet ???? But that will come soon enough, i am sure. A great place to check out.

Great food and amazing cocktails. The vibe here is unlike any other bar in Rochester and the skeeball leagues are a must! Definitely worth stoping in for a short or long stay!

Went here on a Monday night to celebrate my birthday. The bartender was kind and made recommendations and accommodations for everyone in my group. The food and drinks were delicious and it was overall a great experience!
