Unfortunately ours was not the best experience. We were there early on a Saturday evening. The waiter was pleasant but not well informed about several of the dishes we asked about. The fresh spring rolls were all lettuce with exactly one shrimp cut into four pieces, one piece in each of the four segments. The cod was tasty but surely at $28 it could have had a few vegetables in it. The restaurant itself was messy and the floor was littered and did not appear to be clean. It was an overall disappointment.

The food is very good but the service is terrible, the waitress who served us didn't even introduce herself, I don't know her name, but she gave us attitude by just asking for a beer. After that, she didn't want to serve us, another very nice guy had to arrive to help us, unfortunately, the He had to leave and she finished our service. I would never return to this restaurant again. Anyway, we tipped her very well so she understands that customers are not treated badly. She apparently is interested. After seeing the tip, she smiled and said thank you, something she had not done before ??Parking: Good

Everything about Red Sun Chinese was mediocre. At best, it's average Chinese-American fare. The sesame chicken wasn't very crispy. The lettuce wraps were bland. The wontons in the soup were overcooked and falling apart. It's just not worth it for the prices they charge.

Sushi was awesome. Service was great. Slight wait on Friday night but only 10 minutes. Wine selection limited but beer was good Will go again.

Very slow food service. It would have been quicker to order delivery than it was sitting in the restaurant. Very crazy atmosphere and very disorganized. I am from NC and this restaurant would go out of business very fast in NC. Disappointed and not impressed. Been here 1 hour and still no food!!! I would have rated the food but I haven’t gotten it yet. Just got my food….frozen out of a bag!!!

The food was delicious and the service friendly though a little less attentive near the end. Huge variety of dishes and good sushi. The only negative was the tables are spaced uncomfortably far at the booths.

This might have been the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Was seated in the dining room and no server came to take my order. I decided to just order online and do pick up. When I got back to my hotel room was missing part of my order. Not sure who is to blame but someone needs to get it together there.

Food good. Not great. What took me by surprise was the lack of basics. Usually in a Chinese restaurant one would receive tea and at least a fortune cookie. No where to be seen. Requested a side of fried rice to be added to the order. No fried rice side, only the entree. Moving on, service good and prompt.
Disgusting is about all I can say!! I paid 22 dollars for what look like old sweet and sour chicken that had just been shaken around and some honey sauce. I'm going to walk back inside there and ask for a refund cuz I'm sorry this is not worth $22. I wish I could figure out how to put a picture in here so I can show you what they tried to tell me

Sadly, this once reliable Asian restaurant has turned a corner. Dirty interior. The hostess looked like she just rolled out of bed. We waited 20 mins for our table to be cleared so we could sit. We waited about 15 mins for our server to greet us. We had to ask for water. They only served green tea (no black!). Crab wontons were chewey. Entree (cashew chicken)was not hot, and had exactly 5 cashews. Special fried rice was greasy and tasted old. We quit there. Will find another Asian establishment to frequent!

My boyfriend and I got take out from Red sun and enjoyed it. The dumplings were some of the best we have had. The lo mein was very good and the sesame chicken was also pretty good. I would order again.

Worst experience in a restaurant EVER. Ordered online for a 1:45 pm pick-up for takeout, ordered the two most common items on any Chinese menu: hot & sour soup and eggrolls. Arrived at one minute prior to pick up time and there is literally NO ONE in the restaurant, just a sign saying dining is in the Japanese sister restaurant up front, if no one is at desk call the phone number shown on sign. Called, no answer. Waited a few minutes, called again, still no answer. Walked up front to Japanese place shouting "hello", got no answer. Prep chef at sushi bar went to tell someone. FINALLY a young woman came out (the hostess I assume) at 1:50. Told me my order would be ready in 10 minutes. When I pointed out it was supposed to be ready already, she just repeated it would be ready in 10. Finally got my order at 2:01, no apology, no extras for making me wait the extra 15 minutes for my takeout. There was literally NO ONE ELSE in the entire restaurant besides staff, so they couldn't have been too busy. Got the food home and not only did they not include the usual crispy noodles for the soup, the egg rolls were overcooked and really nothing special. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!
