The brunch was yummy and the drag was delish!
Enjoyed a lovely drag brunch! The buffet style food and mimosas were fantastic. The entertainment was lovely of course and the space is welcoming for all!
Always a great place. Super crowded but thats ok they work fast.
Awesome place, awesome music, awesome people. But be careful, my car got broken into in the parking lot (not their fault), but overall 10/10 experience. Greatly enjoyed the place, will visit again whenever I'm in Rochester next time.
Instead of mailing a lost and found license of a queer person during this Fascist Administration , they just throw it away. Forget trying to get a hold of anyone. Their answering machine says, “we don’t answer the phone.”
The first I visited Roar I was new to Rochester. It was New Year 2024 and I haven’t been back there since. The music was amazing and drinks and services are good. The atmosphere of the people there are 0/10. This is when I was 30 pounds heavier and anyone who walked by me looked at me with disgust like my presence grossed them out. You’ll only get a friendly welcome if you’re attractive if not mean looks for you. I can’t go there without anyone looking at me with disgust and making me uncomfortable. For a community that’s promotes sticking together and accepting each other they have a funny way of showing it. Out of all the LGBTQ+ communities, the Rochester LGBTQ+ community are the worst people I’ve ever met. I don’t recommend this place or even The Bachelor Forum for anyone.
its a building full of high school style social clicks of weirdos and jerks who give you nothing but side eyes or cold shoulders. no one in there is welcoming or friendly. the drinks served were oversaturated with so much alcohol (and who knows what else), to where one sip made me fast walk to the bathroom twice, and fought through rapid fire diarrhea and hot flashes before giving up and leaving in defeat. i now know im never welcome there and this experience alone has killed my hopes of ever trying another club in general again.
we had a private party here, a drag show brunch for my partners 50th birthday, and it was amazing. the food and drinks were good, the staff was friendly and helpful and accommodating, the dj and the Queens (and King!) were absolutely beautiful and entertaining. all of our guests had a great time, so many smiles all around. I personally enjoyed everything and (given i was the one who paid for it all) thought it was totally worth the cost. And now I want to go see a regular drag show there; I am sure the atmosphere there would be high energy and much fun.

If you want to host a private party - consider ROAR. I hosted my 50th birthday party at ROAR this past weekend. We had a drag brunch with four performers and a chicken and waffle buffet. Everyone was amazing. David was easy to work with from start to finish. The DJ was amazing. The food was great. The Queens and King were friendly and incredibly entertaining. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
Draq Queen Bingo for a charitable cause was an absolute blast!!! Great fun, food and libations.

After 5 years and giving this business a 2nd chance, extremely disappointed that nothing has changed. If you want to be treated like @hit then this is your place...extremely rude and pretentious security and bartenders. There are better venues in Rochester who will respect you and provide you with a great experience than ROAR..
Saw the show earlier tonight! It was great! Very good talent, great VIP seating service and such a friendly cast too! Overall a very good time!

Got sprayed with beaver juice. When I asked for help, someone from the kitchen literally threw me a mop and said to keep my mouth closed next time. Never going there again after tomorrow
ROAR is amazing! We hosted my bachelorette here in the Champagne VIP room. My friends and I had a BLAST, truly a night to remember. Bottle service was amazing, and special shoutout to SHERWIN for being a superstar!!! He took care of us ALL night and helped make the night truly special. The shows were fantastic and they made a special shoutout for us at the start of the night. The Queens all came upstairs and took pictures with us which was so special and fun! When we come back I'm asking for Sherwin, truly an amazing person who loves his job!

Karaoke Weds Nts! Fabulous singers, great drinks and a very fun night.
Parking: You can sing at least twice, prob even 3 times. The KJ ELA uses the app KaraFun, which is maybe the best karaoke app to use (bc of the amnt of song choices). Adults only tho. Wide range of song choices by the singers as well.
