I go to school around the area and I wanted to grab a quick lunch. I ordered the Tofu Thai wrap and it unfortunately did not meet my expectations. The wrap was small and for the price not worth it in my opinion. The tofu was incredibly salty, I couldn’t eat it. As you can see from the picture, I took it out.I will say, the staff were great! Very friendly, I appreciate that. Overall the atmosphere of the cafe seemed nice.

Service - Waited almost 20 minutes for (2) wraps. People that ordered after us were served before us (probably bc they were HS friends of the HS kids working there). Food finally arrived and it wasn't even what I ordered. I didn't want to wait another 20 mins, so she was kind enough to refund me.Atmosphere - Smelly. It feels like the kitchen is venting inside into the seating area. My clothes stunk after just 20 mins in there. The place has floor to ceiling windows that desperately need to be leaned. The kitchen exhaust clearly makes the windows grimy to where it makes you dizy trying to look out the windows.

I've been coming to Root 31 for a couple of years now. They have GF and DF options and their veggie selections are always fresh and delicious. The servers are consistently friendly and helpful and it's exactly what I'm looking for in a great restaurant, dining in or buying take-out.Dietary restrictions: GF DFParking: Inside Pittsford Plaza

The food is great especially the turkey burgers! And I can get gluten free bread! The workers are always friendly and their cook likes to sing and he has an amazing voice!! Highly recommend!!

3.5 rating round up to a 4. The wrap I ordered wasn't my type, but my staff were happy with their options, so I'll take that. We took out but the interior seems cozy enough to have the coffee shop feel but spacious enough to hold most folks. food was made promptly and staff were friendly. I ordered the mango chutney turkey wrap- it was a little odd but I appreciate that Root31 is going for healthy options despite being a fast food approach. Imagine cold mango jam with a mouthful of raw spinach. All in a cold wrap. it's a little jarring in texture and flavor contrast. I almost can't remember if there was indeed turkey because I was just so busy trying to get past the sweet jammy raw leaf. The other options my staff ordered that were warm were all good hits, so I think we would order again. I would order a warm entree next time to make a better review.

I like their food. We ordered and paid for our dinners using their web site. The food was not ready on time, but 45 minutes later. While waiting the employees were standing around laughing. For some reason they laughed at our order. I would never deal with them in the future. If the owner is aware of the behavior of the employees they should deal with this. If the owner was present IMHO they are on the road to failure as have many other restaurants in Pittsford Plaza. SAD

I wouldn't say this place is stellar. It is pretty good in the service is really nice. It's a lot better than the one on the eastview Mall that is now closed. They do have some healthy options.

I love the food there and I usually go there for lunch before work. One of my favorites is the chicken quesadilla on the jalapeño wrap so good. I have also had the Nutella croissant which is also good and the lattes are good too and the smoothies. The staff is very friendly.

Cute little place, I stopped in during work so I could grab a smoothie and the man behind the counter was so nice to everyone. He was by himself and that had to have been stressful and he was still so friendly. He also asked me what ratio of raspberry to strawberry I wanted when I asked to add it which no other place has ever done. The whipped cream here is also delicious. I haven't had the actual food but I'll definitely be back for more smoothies.
