Chose to come here for my sisters birthday and they did not disappoint! Our waiter who I believe was named Owens was fantastic and made our night! Thank you so much for the great food and even better service!

Best happy hour ever since the pandemic. Came here on Friday at 5, and enjoyed $2 beers, $4 margaritas, $3 guacamole, and $5 half order wings. Happy hour is in dinning room till 6 pm too, which is rare. Food was great too. Loved the wings and Crunchwrap. Ended up spending $50 before tip for our date when usually we’re spending $100 on a Friday night. One of our couple friends we early done with on Fridays will be going with us soon!!

Love this place! Delish Mexican food and servers are nice.
Best Nachos in Rochester. I go weekly and I'm in an out within an hour. Friendly wait staff, great bartender, happy hour specials and clean eats. Highly recommend
Overall, not impressive. The quality of the food doesn't seem as good as other Mexican places near by for the cost. The beer specials are nice though.

Salenas is pretty much par for the course for Mexican food in Rochester. Last time I was there I ordered the enchilada platter, and this is how it went: (1) beef enchilada with red sauce - bland; (2) chicken enchilada with white sauce - very bland; (3) pork enchilada with tomatillo sauce - one-note, could have been Chinese sweet and sour if I closed my eyes; (4) chicken enchilada with mole sauce - tasted like barbecue sauce. Good Mexican joints pop up in Rochester now and then, but almost inevitably fail within a year or two. Salenas has been around forever. I am forced to conclude that Rochesterians do not like Mexican food unless it is robbed of flavor. It does get worse. We ordered the fried ice cream (not really Mexican, but still delicious when done right), which is a ball of vanilla ice cream rolled in cornflakes and cinnamon sugar (true to form: not enough of the latter). But it had apparently been prepared long before being dropped in the fryer, because the cornflake coating was soggy and stale, not crispy.Basically, if you're a Rochesterian, by all means, partake. You will probably love it. If you want tasty Mexican food, you'll need to drive for a while in the other direction. The service is good, though.
