I never knew that I needed banana pudding in my life! Shayla J’s banana pudding is scrumptious - the texture, the flavors, everything about her banana pudding is delightfully delicious!

So I was walking down South Avenue looking at the neighborhood, saw the desserts in the window. I noticed the sign said it closes at 5pm. I doubled back went inside. I noticed the cupcakes looked very pretty, then I laid my eyes on the ample portions of banana pudding. So, I purchased pineapple upside down banana pudding for the 1st time. My God in heaven!!!!!!!!! Shayla J' you did not have to do me like that. I am trying to lose weight and get into shape. How, when I have tasted the best banana pudding I have ever had. Oh, and the pasta salad was so robust with flavor. They were closing and invited me to come back the next day. Man, Oh Man. I will be a like family. You are a blessing to me. I live in Buffalo and will be bringing customers back with me. God Bless and thank you for being great.

Wonderful little shop, we enjoyed their breakfast sandwich and coffee! Great place for a quick stop to eat :)

Great food and service! Shayla and all the ladies were so nice and welcoming. Plus, the food was out of this world delicious?!!! It was also connected to a Boutique, Women of Color, that was amazing as well. We shopped and ate like a mall but BETTER?!

I took my son there for a breakfast bagel after his appointment. It was our first time there and when we walked out he said the customer service was fantastic and although it was a small place, they made it work. We had our sandwich in the car and he was so pleased with his sandwich and donut. We’ll definitely be back.

Wonderful food, and Shayla was sooooo nice! We had the salmon bagel, which was freshly grilled and covered in sauteed eggs, spinach and artichoke hearts. Wow! And the pineapple upside down cake - a terrific variation on the homemade banana pudding that they are famous for. Enough for 3-4, depending on how greedy you are. We're looking forward to it for lunch again tomorrow.Be sure to read the reviews posted on the wall from the second graders who visited Shayla's recently - it was a big hit with them!

Felt a little uncomfortable walking in. Being stared down. That was my 3rd visit. A little expensive. Everything looks great but tastes ok. Service could me better in my personal opinion/experience. Will not be returning.

OMG!! When I tell you the Steak bagel was LOADED!! There was steak in every bite! So tasty and filling!! I have found a new FRIEND!!

Kid-friendliness: I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile! I was welcomed and given a tour of all what each shop had to offer. I was given details about the deserts!

Parking: Lots of off street parking!

Her desserts are amazing! The food is always hot & fresh, especially when it's made to order. I'll be going back for sure. I'm a regular anyway.

The steak egg and cheese bagle was very delicious steak was cooked just right I will be coming back for more the staff is down to earth and very friendly if you never had Shayla's I say get down there and try it for yourself you will NOT be disappointed

Food is good. Banana pudding is delicious! Only thing I don’t like is she doesn’t wear gloves which turned me off.

I just wanted to order and eat everything in there! There’s a posh vibe with grandma’s cooking mixed all in one location. I came for breakfast bagels, however, I saw these strawberry crunch cupcakes and lemon pound cake banana pudding. Just mouth watering. I will definitely be treating my family and friends to this little treat more often! Tell her Tay sent you! Lol

Shayla is awesome. I've bought food from her even before she opened her restaurant. Nothing will let you down. Vegetarian options are available on everything. Most things are made to order for hot meals.
