First time here. Couldn't wait to try it out. I ordered a portobello sandwich. The roll was so went and soggy. I cut the sandwich in half to make it easier to hold. I lost half of the mushroom to the ground. The little bit I ate was ok. Waitress only offered something else to eat. That was unacceptable by the time she came around. My friend had most of her meal gone.

Was absolute garbage waitress got the order wrong The French fries were sponges for grease The burger was the only thing that was good the bun sucked was hard and crappy then she brought us food we didn't even order The soda tasted like it had chemicals in it the whole thing was terrible I came home and threw up

WOW. How RUDE the service I got from this place. I went in on a Saturday May 24th and the inside was full. So I asked to sit outside and the Bartender said yes of course. She called the younger man standing next to the door to bring me outside to be seated. We find a table and this overweight man of 400-500lbs comes shouting & yelling “NOOO NOOO EVERYONE STAYS INSIDE!!! GET INSIDE!!! THERE IS NO OUTSIDE SEATING!!! It’s not raining out nor it’s windy. It’s a perfect day to sit outside. However the RUDE man should have said “excuse me but we aren’t letting everyone sit outside today” instead of the shouting & yelling NOOO NOOO EVERYONE STAYS INSIDE!!! GET INSIDE!!! THERE IS NO OUTSIDE SEATING!!!
Adding to my review. Even tho it was nice out and warm weather that Saturday and it didn’t rain at all. The next day on Sunday May 25th they allowed outside seating??? So even tho with a packed inside liked explained to him he couldn’t let 1 customer sit outside to enjoy a good meal?
Also to find out it was the Owner himself? So you’re saying you couldn’t have acted in a better manner? Coming over shouting and yelling NOOO NOOO EVERYONE STAYS INSIDE!!! GET INSIDE!!! THERE IS NO OUTSIDE SEATING!!!?
Idk about him but most the restaurants shop owners I’ve met in Webster and in Monroe County all have been nice and pleasant when mistakes happen but not this guy.
So IDK about you guys but I’d stay away from this place. It has decent food but why support someone local like this guy?

Went for a fish fry lunch with the wife, went to the dining room, white haired man who came out of kitchen door said to sit anywhere. Sat there for 10 minutes, no waitress,no water, nobody, and left. After returning to our car, a waitress came up and said that she wasn't told we were there.

I used to love getting food here, the angry bird chicken sandwich used to be great. It was a full chicken breast pounded flat and breaded with panko. What i just picked up now appears to be a Tyson chicken patty half the size of the bun. Iv had better chicken sandwiches at burger King. Incredibly disappointed, shame on you

We got a fall outdoor table with a great view of the bay. Food was very good and the service excellent as our waitress pulled a saxe heater to our table to keep away the evening evening chill.
Generally I’ve had a good experience at Southbay. Last night they were understaffed which our waitress explained. She was upbeat and had a smile on her face but just couldn’t keep up. Not her fault. It took a long time to get drinks and out bill. Again, not her fault. I ordered the broiled fish which was cold and instead of getting a veggie and salad, I asked for double broccoli which I was told was an upcharge. My friend got the same thing but stuck with the included side salad. She got a beautiful side salad that looked like a meal and I was charged an additional $3.99 for double broccoli and there were a total of 5 small broccoli flowerettes.
Needless to say, very disappointed. I didn’t say anything as we had after dinner plans and it would have held us up but I probably won’t go there again.
The other 2 in our party enjoyed their dinners I would like to add.

we have been regulars at SouthBay for quite a few years. Literally 4 min from our house. The last few times, this summer, we were there were not good. poor service, and the food not good. We were there tonight, my burger was so over cooked and dry and the mushrooms on it were raw. My husband's wings were way undercooked, took for ever to have them crisped up. We left before they came out and our server couldn't cate less, just said she wasn't responsible for the cooking. We are now across the street at Bar Bill. It's so disappointing, we always try to support local

Heard great things about this place. Sat at the bar and was greeted by Melissa…. Per transport rate recommended some of the best things on the menu. We love the falafel shrimp more than anything actually like tails!!!!Johnny and Will thank you for an incredible meal….juke box also legit. Must stop for sure!

I will never in my life go back to this place. I have a 8yr old and 3yr old and when we got seated my boys wanted to play on the grassed area so we let them cause no one was out there and 5 mins later the owner literally screamed at my son infront of people to stop what he was doing (which was playing tag with his brother). Which as a mom someone literally yelling at your child for no reason and your paying for service will really upset you. But on top of it the waitress didn’t serve use and walked around like she was lost for over an hour. I work in customer service my self so I feel like I have more of understanding but that being said we were treated horrible and urge no one to go and waste their money at this restaurant

This place is such a vibe! I sang, I danced, and I drank! Perfect night for my birthday. The view is beautiful! My only recommendation is to have at least 2 bartenders on the inside bar at all times. She was so overwhelmed. It took her at least 25 minutes to take our drink order.
