"Speakeasy" is a private, closed venue only available for pre-reserved, specially-catered events. If you call it will direct you to the attached Monroe's restaurant, if you make a reservation it will be for the restaurant only (which is a normal place, not 20s-themed). See restaurant reviews to hear about Monroe's. For the purposes of the speakeasy, it doesn't exist as a typical bar. They need to update their website.

Discovered this on Google and decided it would be a great night out. When we got there we were directed to a different door and then were told it was a private party and they are no longer open to the public. Disappointed. None of us that read about them found anything that said closed. Perhaps it is a true speakeasy and you need to know someone to get in, but not tonight. We went with plan B.

Interesting place if you enjoy the feel of an old time speakeasy! Excellent craft cocktails and good food to go with it!

Friends will not go there due to unbelievable negative treatment, therefore my friends. We go places to relax and enjoy ourselves, when management interferes with people ability to enjoy personal time, it is a place to avoid. In the true paisano tradition we are boycotting this venue

The food was good , the wait staff was good. But it took forever for our food to arrive and we just had a drink and appetizers.

My freind and I took our men here for a date night... let me just say we were thoroughly disappointed. We had a 7:30 reservation, we ended up there at 7 and went to the bar for a drink to wait to be seated. They didn’t seat us till after 8 PM and just put us in the bar area at a table that had been open since the time we had got there (yes bar seating where we could have been sitting the whole time!!!!!). Our waitress didn’t even show up at our table until about 15 mins afte

As has already been noted by others, the Speakeasy operates on a limited schedule, and primarily during the winter months. My wife and I, along with friends, had visited the Speakeasy 2-3 times last season, and were very pleased with our experiences. The food was prepared quite well, the portions were generous, and the service was also very good. Based on out past experiences, my wife and I, along with a long-time friend, visited the Speakeasy last evening, on their first night of this season of operation. Overall, I'd have to say that we were somewhat disappointed. We found the menu had been revised, and a couple of our favorite dishes had been dropped. We also were initially surprised at what appeared to be significant increases in pricing. Our dinners were well prepared and very tasty, however, the "generous portions" that I previously mentioned, appear to be no longer, either. The entrees all appear to be in the mid-$30 range, with salads and/or "sides" extra. Steaks are in the $50 range. I'm by no means cheap, but I do take cost into consideration when considering a meal, and when I get into the $40 per plate range, I start to get a little picky. The service, however, was still very good.

This was the worst dining experience of my life
