A "Cheers" bar exists in Rochester, and its name is "St. Paul Proper".
I have never met a bar/restaurant owner more respectful of disabled persons. Dan (the owner) and Haley (Rochester's best bartender) were thoroughly thoughtful and ensured a premium experience while I was there.
The atmosphere is comfortable for people from 21 to 81, and everybody gets along so well with each other. It's hard to believe a place like this exists in today's world.
Come visit and I promise you will leave with a smile...

We were hungry and looking for good pizza and this came with great reviews. We love the hole in the wall atmosphere with the high ceilings. The staff was wonderful

We were a bit concerned when the GPS took us to the back of the building, but we drove around to the front and found street parking. The neighborhood is pretty Industrial but St Paul Proper is worth exploring outside of the norm. The burgers are huge and jucy. The tots are crispy and tasty. The beers on tap were delish! They had a good selection of beers plus mixed drinks though we didn't try any mixed.
The pizza smelled so great, we were questioning our decision to order the burger - but we were assured the burger was a great choice.
The burger was Tangled Up in Blue - named for the special sauce on the burger. And it was pretty special! It's a mustard, carolina sauce mixed with bleu cheese. But not just ordinary bleu cheese - homemade bleu cheese! It's the type of sauce that you could dip anything in. So good!!

I've loved this place since it was Scotland Yard Pub. Every bit as good and better than ever. Attentive and courteous staff. Great atmosphere, food & drinks!
Other than parking, this place is great. Food and service are good and prompt. We play pool here for our Wednesday league.
