Shout out to Mary for TRULY making my day brighter! She had the patience of a saint waiting for me to hem and haw over the menu, asked questions to steer me in right direction, brushed off my apologizing for not knowing what I wanted by saying "that's literally what I'm here for", shook up a deliciously refreshing iced peach green tea lemonade AND treated me to a pretty cake pop to encourage me to have a better rest of my day. Starbucks, keep this little lady around if you know what's good for you!!! Appreciate you, Mary dearest! :)

Lordy... how do I begin with this... Within less than a ten minute period I've been back to this location TWICE. We'll get back to that in a minute. It's attractive to be sure and if you want do do some quiet work it's a good spot but they do blast the music and it's not obnoxious. The inside is large and plenty of places to sit. They do not have a drive thru but marked off parking for mobile orders. Staff is pleasant but they still had to take my name although I was the only one ordering I saw no mobile orders. Ok whatever... Now you are saying Jen why are you at a Starbucks on Park Ave. This area is known for independent cafes and etc. Sure we have a 7/11 and a CVS.. I digress. To be frank it's probably the only business that can afford the rent around here so let's be frank. I'm doing laundry around the corner and thought ok I'll give this place a go. I ordered a London Fog Latte (steamed milk, Earl Grey Tea, Pumps of Vanilla) now I usually order a Venti of this and only get three pumps of the vanilla. I'll be frank kids it tasted like dishsoap. I can't make this s$&t up. You have absolutely no idea how many times I've ordered this or an Extra Hot Hot Chocolate or an occasional Cappuccino from any Starbucks and it's NEVER, EVER been bad or in all my years going to a Starbucks I had to take a drink back. I kid you not. Still it tasted like dishwater, face palm maybe it's me, my taste buds who knows.. they offered me another drink but I said I think I need more vanilla. Ive had staff from Starbucks tell me to order only three pumps you still get some sweetness but not something that would give you an overload of sugar. It's always been good this time it's been a meh. I asked for more vanilla and she told me it's an extra two shots. I know Earl Grey tea is Bergamot heavy and that's fine but as I'm drinking it, it's still a meh. They were very accommodating about it and I was nice but they seemed annoyed. Again whatever... listen Starbucks, like McDonald's should be fairly consistent. I have no clue how long they've been open cause they gave me a Christmas Cup and the little cozy on it says "follow us on Instagram" It's the first Friday of the new year so.... Listen...we all know why they are here, it's a major corporation that can afford the rent. I can understand why people would come here to meet up, study or do work you do have more space to move around I get it.. You want an EXCELLENT London Fog Latte go to Cafe Sasso or Chai Guy for something different and even the new spot the Swan Family opened up that was Glenn Edith. Basically if you want some good coffee/tea go to these spots not Starbucks. Starbucks burns there beans and I will never drink their coffee as it's too bitter. All in all I'll give them 3 outta 5 The place is tidy and attractive, staff is nice but the drink.. a meh I'd be hard pressed to try another drink from here.. but if I'm with my husband or a friend I'll try something again.. but everyone is welcome to their own opinion and preferences. To me Park Ave will always be that little independent jewel of an area. Parking is a trip as the dude who owns the lot wants you to pay for parking. Or if you are feeling daring use the mobile pickup spaces or street. Other better places to check out and you should. THE END
