Fun place to have delicious drinks and food. Swiftwater offers a great atmosphere, tasty drinks and food. We got the Irish nachos and Asian wings, everything had an incredible flavor. The wings were cooked perfectly, they were crispy but also juicy. Great place to come and hang out.

Great food, great service, great beer. One of my favorite spots in Rochester!

Food was super late and not so good. Had to keep asking the bartenders. Disappointed since we were there years ago and it was wayyyy better.

The food is too loud; there's too much going on in each dish. The beer and atmosphere are good though.

Beer was good. Building smelled funny.

The stromboli was amazing. Beer is really great. Love the atmosphere.

The Steakburger was very good (and very big I could only eat half) and came with a delicous very fresh side salad with a homemade dressing which I loved. Charlie was our server - he's super nice and knowledgeable on the food and beer. *****

Beer was solid, but the sandwiches and burgers were some of the best food I’ve ever had at a brewery

I haven't been to Swiftwater in a while. My wife and I stopped in on a Saturday evening. As always, the beer was terrific and our pourer was very friendly and let us taste several of the beers.

The reason for the mediocre rating is that the entire place had an overwhelming smell of fried food. Unfortunately, the strong smell really detracted from the beer tasting experience. Not sure if it was a ventilation issue.

I dig this place, but I also was shocked they didn’t have WiFi. I understand not wanting to attract students who poach free internet and what not, but come on. I want to stay to drink and do work, but I can’t.

Great beer as always! Good selection from IPAs to sours to stouts. I haven't had their food in a while, but nice never been disappointed and they usually have great vegetarian options!
Swiftwater is fairly family-friendly with changing tables in both restrooms (though I can only vouch for the ladies' room, where it's in the accessible stall!) but no high chairs that I've seen.
In terms of accessibility, there are no motorized doors so some folks may need help getting in, but there are also no stairs to manage.

Vegetarian options: Always at least one great-looking main!

Kid-friendliness: Changing tables in both restrooms, no high chairs, no kid-specific area but it's very casual and staff have always been great about us walking our baby around

Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, but the main entrance and bathroom doors are not motorized which may make it difficult to get in.

Love this place- been coming here for years. Beer is always fresh and great variety on tap. They have friendly staff who have been there for years and welcome you every time you come in. Their food is absolutely awesome. They don’t have a large menu but they have something for everyone. Vegan, meat options and pork free options.
