This literally hidden underground gem of a restaurant is one of the coolest places in Rochester. Looks like a cocktail lounge but down the steep stairs is a cozy, red velvet curtained restaurant with a genius menu. There's even a back deck. How do you have a back deck in an underground restaurant? You'll have to visit.

I've been to Tapas in the past but it's been a few years since I have been back! It's always been great but especially this last time. We had a delicious dinner at Tapas on Saturday. We ordered a handful of apps and each had our on entree as well. The food, drinks and service were all amazing. Highly recomend.

Went to tapas for Valentine's day, it was super cute. The decoration was very intimate and romantic and service was on top of everything! Food was fantastic. The lamb chops are a must!

It's February in Rochester. I had an amazing 2 weeks on a Sailboat in the Caribbean and have been back here in gray, wintery Rochester, trying to come back to every day life, finding it nearly impossible. Until tonight at Tappas 177, a delightful Rum Punch and delicious food, great service and inviting atmosphere, Certainly one of my absolute favorite spots in our great City. Check it out... It's 5 stars all the way.

Service was a bit slower than I expected for a Monday night but the ambiance and food are phenomenal. The salmon and crispy prosciutto penne pasta that was on special was amazing and surprisingly spicy. I didn't have a drink but I'm sure those are great too because the bar was packed. I was seated downstairs and it seemed like the perfect place for a dinner date with friends or a special someone. Would love to come back and see what the weekends look like
