The Burger Bar by Wegmans

We have been to this location many times however this time it was such a disappointment today. I ordered two salmon burgers no sides after seeing the picture outside of the restaurant. When we received the sandwiches they were nothing like the picture. The cut of the salmon was thick ,dry and, oblong placed on a hamburger roll with wilted lettuce ,and a thick piece of tomato a few pickles and barely any remoulade sauce. We could barely eat the sandwich without everything falling out.I spent $32 ,and did not enjoy the food at all. The service was not great (the gentleman that walked the order over to us was kind , but not the person that took our order.

I was at the burger bar on Saturday, 22 June. I ordered hot sauce with my order and never received it and about six times I waved to the person behind a counter named Tommy and he completely ignored me. I ended up having to eat my burger without the hot sauce.
I know, Tommy saw me waving because he looked at me and then looked away. His service was horrible.

Just blah...Burger on a plate. No pickles, nothing outstanding. Roll was not brioche as advertised. GF roll was as hard as a rock. Side salad came from the store to-go case and was wilted and served in the plastic bowl. Service was just ok...it was not busy and the counter clerk seemed to be put out. Wegmans you can do better.

There were only two people working, so they were both taking orders and doing the cooking. They managed it ok and with good attitudes, but reasonably, service moved slowly. I'm giving one star off on the service as a way to try to tell Wegmans they may want to staff it with one more party timer or something. I had the special Chili Lime pulled chicken. It was delicious!

Kid-friendliness: We had two "tweens" with us and they enjoyed the food, too.

My wife and I went there I ordered a fish fry she ordered a cheeseburger I saw the cheeseburger and fries under the heat lang while my fish fry was still cooking when we got our food the cheeseburger was room temperature was something like less the mc Donald's cold and not good the fish fry was only

I am done with this place. The worst customer service…place closed early because the said they ran out of food (but are part of a supermarket). Orders are always wrong and the place looks dingy and depressing as well as being overpriced. Never again!

The cheeseburger was horrible the lettuce look like someone just pulled it out of her ground it didn't even look like freaking lettuce the tomatoes cheeseburger even taste even better the only thing that was really delicious strawberry milkshake now that was real I went there October 27th 2023

Had a heck of a time finding much in the gluten free vegan genre in this city. So we decided to hit up the Wegmans flagship store to check out their burger bar, since i know they serve the impossible burger there.I ended up getting the Mediterranean burger without cheese or mayo and it was pretty good. By my standards though (pretty clean whole foods plant based diet), but the burger and fries were pretty salty. They hit the spot, but the burger could've used more flavor via spices or some sort of vegan sauce to pep it up. Overall, fairly pleased with the experience though!

Vegetarian options: Quite a few vegetarian options, as you cab sub the impossible burger.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free rolls as an alternative

This place has really gone downhill! Frankly, Wegman's should just close the Burger Bar at this point, if this is the low quality effort they plan to put into the restaurant. In the past, my family and I really enjoyed this place. Had a variety of menu items beyond just burgers including great salads and a delicious lobster roll. The price was always a bit high, but justified perhaps by good food and service, plus convenient location. Now, all that is gone! They only serve not very good burgers and couple other sandwiches, nothing else. They have even dropped the mac and cheese from the kids menu, which was a go-to for my youngest. Also they have removed the fountain drink machine, which is bizarre, option are bottled beverages. Not only that, the kids menu items used to include a kids size ice cream after they ate, now also removed from menu, have to buy separately. Both my full size burger and the kids burgers were a joke compared to past quality. Very small and way way way over salted! Service was slow and quite unfriendly.Bottom line, if I am going to pay $11 for a burger, $3.50 extra for fries, $3 more for a bottled drink and $8 per kids meal, I expect more. I am certain the food quality and service would be better at McDonalds and price would be half. Very disappointed in current state of Pittsford Burger Bar, this was a regular stop in past and will not be going back.
