I really wish I could give a better rating. We went tonight to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We were a party of 7. I think if we had a better server the experience would have much more enjoyable. She wasn't very attentive to our table and she had a very blah personality. Side salads came out with our dinners. Meanwhile, the table next to us came in after us and received their appetizers. We were all out of drinks for the last part of our meals. It wasn't busy so not sure why she wasn't around much. We realized that one of the pizzas that was ordered must have been flipped over before being brought to the table because when we boxed up the leftovers all the toppings were underneath it.

This was our first time trying The Gate House and we were impressed! We came on a Thursday afternoon with no reservation and were seated right away. Our server was prompt and attentive immediately and continued through the duration of our meal. We tried the Xerox pizza as well as the Duffy burger and both were 10/10! Absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend!

Best wood fired pizza I've ever had! Fresh mozzarella and lots of it, it was really delicious. Our server was wonderful; attentive, friendly and prompt. I’ll definitely be going back. My only issue, and this isn’t anyone’s fault, was that it was hard for me to hear my friend because it was packed in there.

First time here with my husband, and we were immediately impressed by the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the falafel plate was delicious—perfect to share as an appetizer.
For our entrées, we each ordered a gate plate. I chose the veggie gate plate assuming it was a full burger rather than just a patty. The menu doesn’t specify that, in the vegan option, the patty is served on top of macaroni salad and fries with sauce—you’d only know that by reading the non-vegan version. My husband also didn’t realize both of our dishes featured patties instead of full burgers. He enjoyed the flavor but said he wouldn’t have chosen it had that been clearer. Personally, the vegetable patty wasn’t my favorite—the texture and seasoning just didn’t work for me.
That said, we genuinely loved the vibe, and the service was excellent. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu, because there’s a lot here we’re excited to explore.

The four of us were pleased with our meals. We enjoyed the atmosphere and our service was good. Plenty of parking and fairly close to the entrance to the building.
Had THE BEST dinner tonight! Omg!! Came here with a party of 7 for a birthday dinner. We got placed in a side room with 3 other tables. It was cozy and quiet and we had enough table space as well as space between tables. Our waiter was attentive and immediately starting to take care of us. He shared the specials and gave us time to look over the menu. This was my 3rd time at the restaurant and decided to do an entree over a burger, which I thoroughly enjoyed last time. I was going between a couple items but landed on the Guiness Braised Short Ribs. It came with Bleu cheese mashed potatoes, root veggies, stout gravy and French green beans, and IT.WAS.FABULOUS. So much flavor. The short ribs were fork tender. It was all cooked to perfection with nice chunks of Bleu cheese in the mashed. It was comfort on a plate that I didnt want to end. Three other people got pizzas which looked and smelled delicious. I did try a bite of one and the flavor was also very good with perfectly cooked crispy crust. Someone else got The Wease burger, cooked medium like asked, had big slices of crispy bacon and onions. Specialty cocktails ordered for the table were tasty with aesthetically pleasing presentation. Overall, we cant wait to come back.

Perfect onion rings … and the burger was beyond perfect cooked med and delicious… fry’s are tasty as well and the salad was the best salad I ever ate !!! I could eat just the salad and be full … not only full but the perfect balance of flavor of herbs, fruit and greens … always nice to have a pleasant server. Gabriella was very attentive and gave flawless attention and service !

I would give 10 stars! Everyone working here is amazing, welcoming and most helpful. Our server Sam recommended delicious meals and customized drinks for us. Their veggie plate is enormous and yummy! The place is very cozy and unique, it gets busy so be prepared for some level of noise. Clean restrooms. We parked across at the small parking lot across the street.
