Not impressive. Old place that looks as though owners have no interest in investing a dime. They had great band last night, Live at Filmore, crowd was embarrassingly small. I felt mortified for the band but loved the music (Allman Bros tribute). Did Montage advertise or promote this show at all? It appears to me the owners are just plain cheap. I don't get it! And of course it's a place with no seats, standing only!

Slightly divey venue for live music, which can be a great thing however,... Acoustics were not great and parking can be farther away if you arrive late. Staff was friendly service at the bar was fast. I'd say limited drink selections though. M Bathroom was ancient... Always a line at the ladies as there are only two stalls, and one does not flush very well. Makes you miss the anthology venue

Great small venue for bands. Cheap drinks!

Great people working and running the place - truly passionate about the bar establishment, all the antiquities within and also the food. This is a great - low stress environment that is really nice to sit back and relax - especially if you score one of the comfy chairs/benches.

I was there for a concert on November 3rd. I liked the place alot. I didn't like, however, that the bartender charged my card with an extra $3 in addition to the cash tip she was given for a canned drink. Realistically it's only $3, but it's overall scummy behavior. If this happened to me, I'm sure it's happened to others.

Montage is a great venue. The staff was super nice and we had a great time at the show!

Intimate venue, well suited to small shows.

Nice little venue, friendly staff, and drink prices are ok. Would have been 5 stars, but finding parking sucks. Arrive early or plan on walking a block or 2.

First off, I'm disabled and there is no handicapped parking anywhere. I talked to mgmt about this and they said, not our problem, call the city. However as an establishment you have to have some handicapped parking for those of us who are disabled and have a parking sticker. Would not recommend.

A wonderful, somewhat intimate experience for Rochester's International Jazz Festival.

I had a hard time finding the place. I asked this pedestrian, Cynthia, an Angel if she knew, and she was determined to guide me to the right place. We kept asking people on the street. Now, we both know where is it. On the side of a building, cash only at the door. They have conveniently, an atm inside. A long bar to the right, in the lobby greets one, and the seating area is opposite the bar on the left. It was SRO last night for one of the opening groups of RIJF-OKAN, based in Canada. The crowd was enthusiastic and the group played a mixture of Cuban songs and rhythms. I truly enjoyed the concert while sipping a Corona..
