My boyfriend and I have come here multiple times and are really pleased by how friendly and socialized the cats are. It is so fun to interact with them all and the owners are so kind! Best of all, we have adopted a cat from them and the process was really responsible and respectable but easy. We love our kitty already and are so grateful to the Pawsitive Cat Cafe for our experience ❤️🐾

John and Suzanne are awesome owners, you can tell they care deeply for each and every cat under their care. The new space is great for hanging out with kitties and I'm so glad this cafe exists in Rochester. They are doing great work and you should give them a visit. 😃

I had no idea a place like this existed in Roc but glad it does! Walked right in and was greeted by friendly staff and of course all the lovely kitties

Absolutely horrible experience!! 10/10 do NOT recommend you go there. For starters, the inside was not what I was expecting, it was not a cafe in any type of way, everything was messy, and yes, I understand they recently moved locations and haven’t quite settled it and prepared the place but they could’ve taken that into consideration and WAITED till everything was ready to open up, they are just money hungry and don’t care about people’s experiences. On top of all that, the employees were extremely passive aggressive, I simply asked if cats were available for adoption, they responded with attitude , one worker that was an middle aged white lady who was acting sloppy and careless , she wasn’t even doing her job, just casually laying down scrolling through her phone. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Another employee started following me and my friend who were petting cats , she kept watching over our shoulder as if we were going to do something wrong or hurt the cats?????? Made us feel super uncomfortable , not sure what her name was but I’m pretty sure she was an Asian girl. Whoever owns this business needs to immediately have a serious talk with these employees. I didn’t even stay there for the whole 30 minutes. We left 10 mins early due to the negative atmosphere. ALSO WHATS WRONG WITH HOLDING CATS WHO DONT MIND BEING HELD? People aren’t spending their money to stare and only PET the cats. Truly a waste of my $40 I could’ve spent elsewhere.

It was pretty cute. Not really what I expected but I'm glad it exists. I pictured like a Cafe where you sit at tables and the cats are coming to you, jumping up on the tables, you're enjoying a drink and a pastry, but that's not quite the vibe. You can order a drink, and they're pretty basic and good, but it's not really a Cafe. But the cats are cute. Don't be surprised if you see some fighting. Also don't be surprised if you get bit or scratched. They're animals, they can be unpredictable at times, but it was mostly chill.

Lots of friendly cats and friendly staff. Plenty of lazy cats as well as playful ones. Look out for Sage! He will claim your lap and WILL NOT let you leave!

This place is magic! The owners are the kindest people in the city, and the cats are so well behaved. An absolute must-see

Nice people but this place was filthy. I hope the owners take note and do a better job at keeping the place cleaner.

A fun place with a great cause.

The best place to hang out with kitties run by the nicest people. We have been to multiple of their events (board game night, movie night) and always have a blast.
