While in town for the week, we made the street our nightly dinner. We dined in, we ordered in and it was amazing. The quality of food was amazing

The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. Just what we needed after a long day of traveling.

I would have loved to even try the place but despite the restaurant being nearly empty the party ahead of me was told that it was a thirty minute wait on food. I’m an hour early for my ride so I think no big deal. However, I wait 15 minutes only to hear some young, angry, attitudinal waitress yell “tell everybody they gotta wait”. No contact from the hostess regarding anything other than waiting. I just left. Might as well avoid. Just went to Starbucks instead.

(Winter 2022) - CORSO is the Italian genre bar and restaurant on the main floor of the Hyatt Regency Rochester, New York USA. They serve mixed drinks, cocktails, and many beers from local breweries. Scan the provided QR code for kitchen selections and food menu. The serving staff is friendly and courteous; always service with a smile. It’s a good place to refresh yourself after work. The kitchen for meals usually closes near 10:00 PM. Hotel room service and take out is available from the dinner menu. You might occasionally hear music or dancing from a special event downstairs. Enjoy good food. Make or bring a friend at CORSO! Please remember to tip your server generously. Enjoy!

While in town for a conference, I decided to try Corso for lunch.Lunch opened at 12, and our names were put on the waiting list at 11:55. We were told a :25 minute wait, which ended up being :55 minutes. That was the best part of the experience...The low points were...ordering our food at 1:00 only to sit for another :35 minutes. My friend and I had identical orders (French onion soup and buttermilk chicken sandwich)...the only difference was my sandwich had sauce on the side. When the food finally came out (after the waitress tried to give us our bill before we saw any of our meal), one soup was missing and my sandwich was wrong. The (very bad tempered) Manager snipped at us "Oh, the order is wrong" and started to walk off...I actually had to shout after him to leave my friends food...I got the soup, she got the sandwich.Fast forward another :20 minutes and the rest of our order arrived...with sandwich overdone and the brioche roll burnt to a crisp and my friend's soup was a very poor example of French onion soup with the cheese melted in a clump in the center, pale white, and lukewarm brothWe asked for the bill, only to discover that the soup was being charged $3 more than the published price on the menu ($9 vs $6 menu price). When we alerted the manager, who was already unhappy, he blamed the server and demanded the menus be reprinted. We waited about another :15 minutes for us to pay our bill. I paid by card, my friend by cash. My friend should have gotten 14.62 back with her change, and she was only only given $14 cash bills. She had to actually ask the hostess for the rest of her correct change to be given back to her. The server and the manager refused to come near us.We were there just over two hours, the conference was in it's third day, and the restaurant did an incredibly poor job for it's paying customers.

Basic food options, which is good if they’re done well.Place with questionable hygiene. Cup of coffee smelled like dish rag. It seems the place runs off Hyatt guests who don’t know any better.

Delicious food and fast service. I was able to run down, have a good huevos rancheros and a nice cup of coffee, all in time before I needed to leave for work. The staff were friendly, and if I wasn't in a hurry I would have hung around for a second cup of coffee.

Bartender is nothing but rude and the menu is absolutely average at best. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

My family and I have dined at Corso multiple times and I can say that both the waitstaff and the manager at Corso are great people. Service is always friendly and the manager is always there to greet you with a warm and friendly smile each morning. We look forward to coming back again. Excellent experience and top-notch customer service. Thank you!

Tasteless food cooked with little to no skill or passion. Even waitress admitted that they need a new chef. 1 star is a gift...
