One of my top go to restaurants in Rochester. The staff are extremely nice and the food is outstanding. I highly recommend the spicy basil Thai noodles or the scallop hibachi. Their miso soup is the best I've ever had. If you're looking for a very down to earth Japanese/ Hibachi restaurant, Tokyo is the place to be.One thing I do wish is that they cook the hibachi in front of you instead of in the kitchen. The restaurant is definitely too small to have even one table to do that. However, it's well worth the price and the flavor to go here without the experience.

We had the Tori bento box and a sushi lunch combo. Everything had great flavor, and I would highly recommend coming here if you're looking for some great Japanese food. There aren't a ton of tables, but there are seats at the sushi bar. We had lunch for two and spent about 35$

First time me and my boyfriend went there. The waitress with the shirt hair and pretty earrings was so great. She was attentive and nice. And the atmosphere was good we all sang happy birthday for someone who came in they chimed a gong and it was really cute. It's a tiny place and we missed the doors the first time we walked up to it. But the food was great and a lot of it. We spent about 20 per person. And had leftovers taken home because we couldn't finish either of our dishes. It was a very nice place we ordered the hibachi chicken and the bento box combination. Note: we already ate a little of the sushi and food before we remembered to take pictures haha

Get take out from here every week and it is always the best sushi in the Rochester area. Owner is super friendly, along with the staff, and they are always on time and go out of their way if I show up early.Prices are great for a la cart style and we are always full at the end.Vegetarian options: My wife is pregnant but still loves sushi so was really glad to find they have a great selection of vegetarian sushi that tastes amazing.
had a great time here! food was so delicious; we ordered edamame, papaya salad with chicken wings, shrimp spring rolls, and the tokyo platter for 2. the papaya salad especially stood out, it was very true to papaya salad you would find in thailans :D yum, definitely coming
