Extremely disappointing experience. I ordered jerk chicken and oxtails with Rasta pasta, and it was honestly a waste of money. The jerk chicken was boneless — something that was not stated on the menu — and anyone who knows authentic Jamaican food knows jerk chicken is traditionally served on the bone. It was dry, lacked sauce, and had zero flavor. As for the oxtails, they were burnt and tasted overcooked. This was my first time ordering from here, and it’ll definitely be my last. If you’re looking for real Jamaican food, this isn’t it. Very dissatisfied.

Everyone needs to try a meal from Twist! I ordered a to-go order to share with my family. Delicious and tasty, not overly hot or spicy - just right! I will be back to try another dish, and get a side of plantains! I loved them!!

Service was great. I ordered oxtail w/ rice and peas. I loved the cabbage, it was well seasoned. The small fried dumpling was so cute and delicious. The nutmeg made it taste really homey.
The oxtail was okay. I think if it was more tender, I would’ve liked it more. The portion was good but for $27?? Hmmmm I don’t think it was worth it.
The rice and peas is what displeased me. The rice is long grain and looks like basmati but tastes extremely dry and flavorless. It didn’t even absorb the oxtail gravy so I think there’s genuinely something wrong with the brand of rice that is used. I’ve had a lot of Jamaican food in my life and this was not a good representation of the culture. I will not be returning…
