As i Relocated from Brooklyn it was so hard to find good food but, i must say Uncle Danny diner brings me back home, these people don't even know me but do see me every once in a while & i tell you they would never realuze I've adopted this place as if I've adapted a new family i love, love Uncle Danny ❤️ the food is fresh and the place is clean, as a matter of fact ill be there today as soon as they opens. My Brooklyn in rochester and trust me most rochester restaurant can't even compare to Brooklyn food but, U.Dannys hit the spot ? Stella.

Me and my husband eat breakfast here every other Sunday and we love it, servers are great and very attentive, Mary is also so nice & sweet, always keeping an eye on us for a coffee refill or checking if we need something & if we are happy with how are food was made. Like any other good restaurant it can get busy and wait time can be a little, we had never waited too long for our food but if we wanted fast food we go to a "fast food" chain rest. Every single time our food is made right and delish. I love their meatlovers omelet. Been coming here for a few yrs now and NOT ONCE our food was cold or our order wrong, its always great with a great service.

This was my 2nd time here and it was not like the first time. Same server and she was not as tenative at all to me this time around, but was to everyone else. I noticed that everyone was asked to be refilled, I had to asked each time.
I skipped breakfast and decided to try a Turkey Bacon Club on wheat bread w/Mayo on the side. There were almost no bacon on it!!! The turkey was so dry and had a weird, not so fresh taste to it. When asked about the bacon, since a (TBLT usually come with lots more bacon), she said only 1 or 2pcs came on it and xtra would be 3.99! 2 of the pieces had no bacon. I said not thanks. After about 5 or so minutes, she showed up with 1 slice, which I kinda lost taste, because I found blonde/white colored hair on my sandwich after reaching for the 2nd culb piece?. I didn't report it, because I didn't want to be labled as a problem customer...
Anyways, because of feeling like I was intruding, I probably won't be back.
In conclusion, regardless of who you are, everyone should be treated with dignity and respect, unless...

Mary is wonderful & her friendly staff are great Sue, Sarah, Amanda & Holly those assisting are Anastasia & Billy. We love the Blueberry Pancakes, 2 eggs & sausage. Oh the pies are delicious!! Thank-You for always a lovely time.

Wheelchair accessibility: You can access either end of the side walk ramp leading up to the doors. Need a person to open & hold door open then a second door to go thru. We use a walker so same adaptability going in.

My first time at Uncle Danny's was not a fluke, I been several times and each time was as good as the last. The Wait staff and Servers are very nice and happy to serve. They are tentative their customers no matter how busy it may seem. The breakfast food is great. I like onions in my home fries, and they were cooked to perfection; not anemic. I have had their steak and eggs, Southwest mushroom omelet and the eggs benedict, all were delicious. The restaurant is clean and has real sugar in a dispenser rather than adding paper packets. The do also have diet sweeteners as well at the table as well as cream. Uncle Danny's is worth the stop and easy to find in west Irondequoit. Great job Uncle Danny's.
Dietary restrictions: You can ask for things to be just how it suites you either adding or excluding items.
Parking: Good size parking right at the restaurant with plenty of spaces.
Kid-friendliness: I believe they have baby chair seats for tables.

Unbearably slow service. After taking 10 min to seat us (they had plenty of space) they took another 10 minutes to bring us menus. We were there with our kids and believe it or not little kids get impatient when 20 Min goes by without even seeing a menu. Should go without saying but they didn't offer any crayons or coloring opportunities. Don't bring your family here.

Drove by here many times and decided to stop in today. I had the steak omelet and added avocado it was great. My husband had the ribeye and he said it was good. We will be back!

Food is overpriced small portions for the prices. The service was fair. Ordered corned beef it was overcooked greasy and small portions they could added a few potatoes which are cheap... probably will not be going back...
