Unbearably slow service. It was Saturday morning but they really weren't that busy. After taking 10 min to seat us (they had plenty of space) they took another 10 minutes to bring us menus. It was like we were invisible to them. We were there with our kids and believe it or not little kids get impatient when 20 Min goes by without even seeing a menu. Should go without saying but they didn't offer any crayons or coloring opportunities. Don't bring your family here.

My wife and I have enjoyed going to Dannys for breakfast from time to time. the food is generally good, the service outstanding and the staff are friendly. After my most recent visit I decided to find another "favorite" restaurant......I understand what a tough business a restaurant can be, and I understand the challenges they had to face with COVID, etc. To the point, and why I will not visit them again.......we stopped for breakfast to day. As usual, we were seated promptly and our order was taken and came to the table without delay. As usual our waitress was friendly etc. Then we got the bill........we didn't have anything unusual eggs, etc. Then the bill came........$32.00! I perused the charges to insure that we hadn't been inadvertently charged for something we didn't order....... $3.50 each for coffee; $3.00 + for orange juice - easily 1/3 of the bill for beverages. On paying the bill I indicated to the cashier (I believe she may be the owner) that I felt these charges were exorbitant and as a result we would not be coming again. There are just too many other just as good restaurants that don't try to manage their profitability in such an inane way.....

Food is overpriced small portions for the prices. The service was fair. Ordered corned beef it was overcooked greasy and small portions they could added a few potatoes which are cheap... probably will not be going back...

The bacon was that precooked flat pieces and the toast was from stale bread. It's hard to mess up a breakfast but they did.

Do you love grilled cheese so much that you just can't get any sleep? Tomorrow, you're going to a new restaurant and you're not sure if they'll have your all time favorite. Well, let me tell you something. You won't have to go sneaking a grilled cheese at Uncle Danny's. Uncle Danny's been making um' all night and he's got plenty to share.

The food was delicious! I got the cheesy steak omelet with peppers and onions. Such a big plate! It was cooked to perfection! It came with toast (I picked out rye) and home fries (you can also get hash browns instead!). It is very comfortable and you will definitely leave with a full stomach and a smile! I will always come back for more!

The wait to order food was about 3-5 minutes. The wait for the food was very long. The food was cold. One part of the order was incorrect. I was very disappointed by the food. I hope for future reference the employment ppl work on speed of service and quality of food.

Next time, I'll probably go to the Original Steve's Diner, but Uncle Danny's is open an hour later and is somewhat more affordable.Vegetarian options: The house omelet is vegetarian (though certainly not vegan) and there are other lacto-ovo options available. If you're particularly sensitive to the taste of a breakfast grill, the potatoes may be too meaty for you, but they're not included with the omelet anyway. No dairy-free creamer available.Dietary restrictions: No gluten-free bread available, but typical diner fare like omelets are usually safe. The dolmas were tasty.

I'm surprised at some of the negative reviews here but everyone has a different experience. I'd never heard of this restaurant before but my husband suggested it. We went on a rainy Sunday morning a little before 9am. It wasn't very busy and we got a table right away. Uncle Danny's seems cleaner than many diners, and has live plants decorating the windowsills. Our server was friendly and attentive, coffee was refilled promptly, and food came out quickly. I do have to mention the coffee - sadly it was awful. The food was excellent though. Scrambled eggs were cooked well with no burnt or soggy parts, and hash browns were plentiful and tasted good. The breakfast menu has quite a bit on it, but I usually like the classic egg and potatoes.

I came here with my mom and the hostess was great but, the waitress was awful. She was acting a bit sobby but, the food was great.

On Friday, 9/22/23 of us visited your restaurant. I ordered the chicken sandwich with cheese. The chicken was thin, tough and and tasteless. Very, very disappointing. My sister and her husband’s dinner was fair and the coffee was definitely not fresh. we have all been eating at Uncle Danny’s for many many years, but until the quality of food improves we will not be back. Paying $13.99 fir a tasteless chicken sandwich is crazy.
