Best locally roasted, fresh coffee beans anywhere near Rochester, NY. Lori, the owner, is very attentive to her customers and has been bringing her son up in the business as he has grown into a young man and now does some of the roasting. If you are anything close to a coffee connoisseur you will want to check this out. Jim H

Rarely can you find delight in a simple purchase of a cup of coffee. The people who work at Union coffee roasters are some of the most personable and polite and generous with their smiles and attention to your needs. when I ordered my coffee the cream was poured in front of me in a way that Showed patience and a desire to give me exactly what I wanted …not too much and not too little …perfect! I would recommend anyone go there and have a cup or two!

Despite the tremendous height of the ceiling, Union Place still manages to feel inviting. The interior is warm, well lit and clean.
They have a huge selection of coffee beans, coffee makers, coffee syrups, accessories, honey, teas as well as bakery items.
The seating consists of tables/chairs armchairs and a rocking chair. Local art is displayed to purchase.
The staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable.
If you purchase 16oz of coffee beans then you will get a free 12oz coffee beverage of your choice! Also, there is a rewards card that will get you a free bag of 16 oz beans once you purchase 9 bags.
We ordered Guatemalan Coffee, Winter Spiced Latte, Molasses Cookie and Whoopie Pie (both baked items were vegan and absolutely delicious!). It’s a shame they didn’t have anymore to take out.
What was strange for us (after visiting 66 cafes on our travels) was that we had to ask for sugar and a stirrer!

Neat coffee roaster with a lot of variety. They have a great coffee menu and it’s fun to talk coffee here. They’ve got a little bit of everything so you never know what you’ll find.
I got a maple latte and it was really good.
They do pour overs and French press as well

I had such a great time at this café!
It’s super quiet and clean, and the staff are so friendly and kind — they really make you feel welcome.
Their coffee is top-quality, and they even roast and sell their own beans, both ground and whole.
Totally recommend this place to anyone who loves good coffee and chill vibes

I was looking for a spot to get freshly roasted coffee locally and landed on this place. Every pound of beans you buy there is fresh and never older than a few days. Very friendly group of people always willing to help you pick out the right coffee for you. They’ll even throw in a cup of their daily coffee when you buy a pound. Would recommend for any coffee lover who’s looking for an alternative to getting fresh ground shipped to them.

Their wifi requires you to have your own spectrum account I felt like it was 2005 lol. Wasted opportunity considering their proximity to the dispensary.
