Veneto Wood Fired Pizza & Pasta

My wife and I decided to share a Mediterranean pizza and a salad so we could avoid leftovers and still have a great meal. Our service at Vento's was very good and the pizza was terrific.

Incredible gem downtown with high quality fresh food and a welcoming space. The pizza is great here, I love the rustica. The apps and salads are very good and the selection of entrees has something for everyone. Friendly staff and the new owner is making things even better. Great place for drinks after work and apps or a night out, don't miss out on some of the best Italian food in the city

One of the best restaurants on east Avenue, very beautiful. Especially they're back room party hall. Everything about this restaurant is special. They're food, they're staff. I highly recommend to try Veneto restaurant your self.

It was a busy Jazz Festival evening but we were seated and served relatively quickly by a very pleasant and efficient server. The food was great and the price was reasonable.

I ordered Calamari & a Rustico Pizza Both were good, not great. My wife ordered a salad which we shared, that was good. She also ordered a gluten-free pizza. Said it the crust was like cardboard and the worst gluten-free crust she ever had. She couldn't eat it. She scraped the toppings off and ate that. The waitress was very kind and deducted $$ from our bill. We would probably not eat there again.

Everything was wonderful from the salad, pizza and wine. The service was amazing. Can't wait to go back.

Server was very good, place was very busy due to the Jazz fest. Pizza my husband had could have been cooked a little more, the crust was mushy not firm. All other items were good in our party of 4

Very cozy atmosphere, fast service, and great food. We got the Margherita pizza and gnocchi with vodka sauce.

This was our first time dinning here. It was recommended to me by my chef friends. We were seated quickly and the place was clean and had a great feeling. We ordered an app and main course. I had the pasta and it was very good. My wife ordered the chicken parm, the piece of chicken was very big and cooked to a nice golden brown, unfortunately it was so big that it was “Woody” and my wife could not eat it. The server was very understanding and offer to get my wife something else. Unfortunately we had reservations for part 2 of our date night and did not have enough time. They took it off the bill which we appreciated it. We will be back and give them another try.

The salmon special was good. A reasonably sized piece and cooked perfectly, and it came with a small and simple cucumber and tomato salad. It was $42. I thought the price was high for what I got. For that price I would have expected another side with the meal. The rib appetizer was very good...tender and meaty. Nice flavor.

As always, great food and excellent service! The entire staff is gracious and caring. The food is outstanding!
