Veneto Wood Fired Pizza & Pasta

The salmon special was good. A reasonably sized piece and cooked perfectly, and it came with a small and simple cucumber and tomato salad. It was $42. I thought the price was high for what I got. For that price I would have expected another side with the meal. The rib appetizer was very good...tender and meaty. Nice flavor.

We were promptly seated although we arrived earlier than our reservation. The restaurant was full and lively. We watched them make our pizza as part of the kitchen was next to the bar. The cocktail was an interesting take on an old fashioned that had a lovely orange peel flower shaped in the large ice cube. Very creative and cool. Our meal was good and we left happy. The restaurant seemed very popular and I can see why. If we were a local, it could be a place we would frequent.

Really great dining experience. Food was excellent. Service was outstanding. Alex, our waiter, was attentive and kind. Homemade pasta and delish sauces. Really great.

Wood fired pizza is one of my favorite dishes and Veneto's knocked it out of the park. I'd highly recommend making reservations. We went early and managed to get seated immediately at the bar. Facing the kitchen gave us a great peek at so many delicious entrees that we definitely plan to visit again! Good atmosphere with friendly staff.

Parking: Free parking in the lot with a parking pass supplied by the restaurant otherwise there's street parking. Metered during certain days/hours.

Pizza was horrible. The dough was not even cooked and the cheese was just cold. The ingredients were gross, undercooked and the size per the box was extremely small.

First and last time, never will be back.
Avoid, overrated, overpriced.
