I have an extremely huge problem trying to shut up about this place. I’ve lived on park ave for 3.5 years now and absolutely nothing compares on this strip. Watching everyone start to pay attention to this place over the years has been so bittersweet. The swan family restaurants in general are always my go-to, but Vern’s especially has a special place in my heart!

This restaurant is in the popular Park Ave. area of Rochester. It is very busy on weekends, especially in the summer. We had dinner here on a Friday night in June. We arrived at 5:45 pm and they told my wife and I it was a 90-minute wait for a table. Note that they do not take reservations. Fortunately, we got a table in 60 minutes. Emma, Daniel and Collette were extraordinary, The coconut curry clams are my new favorite dish and the option to trust a bartender with the “wing it” option on the cocktail was amazing and delicious. Will be back very soon :)
