The food and drinks were good, however, the service was poor. It was obvious that they were understaffed with servers and overstaffed with hosts/hostesses. There was one server who was covering the bar and high top tables, and this server was expected to also be the bartender. Due to being understaffed and the server needing to cover so many areas, he forgot to put in our food order so it took quite a while for us to be served. We understand that this sometimes happens, but what didn't sit well with me was that we weren't offered even a small percentage off of our bill and we ordered a good amount—drinks, appetizer, 2 entrees, coffee and dessert.

Amore is excellent! The ambiance, service, and most importantly the food is outstanding. Pasquale and Sam truly care about the experience for all of their guests. It definitely shows throughout the staff. I got the beef short ribs, the parsnip purée was prepared perfectly. I tried some of my friends dishes as well and everything was so good. Our server Jackie was warm and amicable. Couldn't of asked for anything better!

We went here for an early dinner before a show. Our server was very attentive and prompt, making sure we could have a nice dinner without feeling rushed. The food was excellent. I would recommend this as a good place for a casual meal.

We really enjoyed our dinner and our server. Salads were excellent. I have given ratings of five out of five stars on almost all aspects A couple of critiques: 1. the cauliflower crust on the pizza was only OK. We purchase cali crusts from Wegmans often and this seemed like it wasn't as good as the kind we normally get in the store. maybe that's just psychological because we expect more in the restaurant, but it really wasn't that good 2. We appreciated being seated in the pergola. It was nice because it was smaller and quieter, but there is a very loud harm from the refrigeration in the main Wegmans store. I would suggest that they enclose that pergola for more peace and quiet.

We 3 senior citizens placed our orders, the appetizer took a while to get, the waitress did not return for about 40 minutes to say the food was coming, she apologized for the delay and said we could have free deserts to make up for this , 2 were ordered . When we got the bill we were charged for 1 of the deserts.

Amore is the best place to go if you want a good meal, service is great they treat you like your family. You don't leave there feeling unsatisfied but you leave there ready to go to bed because the food is so delicious that it leaves you wanting to more.

Amore is my favorite restaurant. The food is consistently fabulous and I have brought many different friends there. They always comment on the ambience and the ability to actually hear eachother when we catch up on what's happening in our lives. Great service and we had a bottle of Riesling that was wonderful! Will be back many more times!

It was my husband's birthday. He ordered a chicken dish and made it quite clear that he didn't want a lot of "fat/oil" used in its preparation. The server gave it to him and it was DEEP FRIED. My husband who is on a strict diet couldn't eat one piece. When he explained to the server that he was not told it was deep fried the server said, "That's the only way we prepare it." It was replaced with a veggie lasagna that we took home. Please ensure the servers explain the chicken is deep fried. Thanks.

A huge thank you to the entire staff for accommodating us in requesting a seating change. As always, great food and excellent service! Thank you Kendall, Samantha, Claudia, Pasquale, and everyone who works so hard to make Amore such a treasure.

The butternut squash pizza was perfectly done and a nice blend of flavors. Panzanella salad was delicious. Amore is consistently good quality and service.

We are regular customers in theater nights. Have never had an issue before. Service was not up to Amore standards last night. Our food took forever to come out. Table next to us arrived later than us yet their food was served 20 minutes before ours. Our server seemed to have forgotten about us and didn't check back regularly if we needed anything. She also had a problem with separate checks. This has never been an issue before. We wound up having to rush to our 7:30 show and this has never happened before. Very disappointing

The food was absolutely amazing, especially considering everything from the vegetables to the honey on one of the appetizers to the flowers on the table were all produced from Wegmans' organic farm. Presentation was lovely. My only criticism was that we felt very rushed. For a 6-course meal, a full two hours would have been more appropriate. We sometimes had new courses arriving before the plates had been cleared from the previous one. IT would have been an even more enjoyable evening if we'd had time to savor each course before being presented with a new one.

We have been coming here since it opened. It was - and I stress the past tense - one of the better Italian bistro-style restaurants in the city. But, it is in a downward spiral at the moment. With the exception of one waiter, most of the staff were young and inexperienced in the context of fine-dining. Service was good, but exceptionally slow. I ordered a pizza (which has been one of their staples for years) and half of it was burned black. By the time the manager got there, my girlfriend was almost done and I had eaten part of the unburned part, but there was no flavor, as if they'd forgotten the spices. To his credit (I guess) the manager took 50% off the pizza price . . . .
