Kudos to the Ice Man in the fresh fish department at the Canandaigua Wegmans!
A very nice and extremely knowledgeable young man took the time to talk fish with my sister and I this past Sunday.
He was icing down the fresh fish display, hence the name Ice Man. I'm sorry to not have given him the courtesy of asking his name.
We weren't familiar with Char and by the time he explained the fish we were hooked. We each bought a whole fish.
The flavor and texture are amazing...
I like shopping at Wegmans on Calkins road but I will never ever get another sub from their sub shop again this is the fourth time they have screwed up our sub even when I called and told them what subs we wanted what we want on it etc they still screwed it up they have the worst subs that I've had at least the ones I've made for me do not recommend you getting subs from there
Wegmans not only has all groceries and prepared foods but wonderful customer service. Every time we've needed to find something or learn more about anything they are very helpful. Yes other stores can come close but they aren't Wegmans.
