Wegmans staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Fruits and vegetables are always fresh and clean and they have a plentiful variety. Stores are clean and they are very good to their employees. I think their prices are reasonable and have good sales.
I've ordered subs throughout the U.S., and nobody makes a bigger, better sub than Wegmans. The story is that Danny Wegman was so impressed by a local shop's subs that rather than try to copy them, he paid the owners to have their staff teach Wegman's Subs Shop staff, and now every Wegman's sub shop employee is taught to rigorously adhere to that training.
