Wegmans, I have two suggestions for your Mt Read store. We been very disappointed with your bakery selections - particularly the donuts. The quality of donuts has gone down significantly over the past several years. This morning I purchased two donuts, and they were both stale and the bread already had started separating like it was several days old. It used to be that we would go in and the smell would entice you and the warm, soft donuts would be a treat, but not anymore.
Secondly, the milk that is stocked at the front of the store in the rack coolers. I’ve noticed that when they are stocking the milk, they fill the cooler and then place a bunch of milk on top of the milk that is in the cooler. The milk on the top doesn’t get or stay cold, and when I bring it home, it tastes awful. I know they do this to prevent having to stock the milk more often, but it is affecting the quality of milk.
It appears the workers, management, or corporate (or all three) are cutting corners and that isn’t what we have come to expect from Wegmans.

Why do the people stocking the shelves find it necessary to destroy the potato chips when stocking the shelves? The last two times we purchased potato chips about half of the bag, or probably more, was mostly crumbs. If you purchase the chips from the large center aisle that are left in the boxes there are very few smashed one.

But i have traveled all up and down New York and there is none greater. Keep up the great job Wegmans and Executives who make the decisions. I applaud your service

The subs here are ALWAYS THE BEST! Forget DiBella's, Wegmans is the new king of subs!They never skimp on meat, cheese, or toppings in my experience, having been there multiple times now.The bread is always fresh baked there in the store, and is the perfect mix of a nice crusty outside with a soft and fluffy inside.The meats and cheese are definitely fresh deli quality, no pre packaged garbage.I'm never disappointed when I get a sub here, and infact, am surprised at how good they do compared to everyone else.Stop for some groceries and get the best sub you'll ever have at the same time!
