During the week, this place is phenomenal. Despite late hours, they're responsive and diligent about making sure your order is correct and taken care of; whether it be dine-in or take out. I ordered on a Wednesday, June 11th, 2025 for a pickup over the phone, and they followed through quickly and promptly.
On weekends, however, it's a completely different experience. They don't pick up the phone for orders (They actually just kill the phone number, and you're sent to a voicemail that's not set up, thus ending your call) and you're most likely waiting for almost an hour for your food during a dine-in trip. I have yet to have a successful order anywhere between Friday-Saturday night.
I've tried to order via doordash or UberEats on Friday, June 13th 2025, had to place the order almost 2 hours ahead, only for it to get cancelled by the establishment due to some technical difficulties or issues.
I tried to call in an order to pick up on Saturday June 21st 2025, before leaving the beach, to which my phone call kept getting dropped and hung up on.
I get being a packed bar, on the warm summer nights, by the lake, but to actively avoid taking any take-out orders on the weekend is a terrible business model.
I will add that I played drums with a band who has performed at this establishment, and one evening after playing elsewhere in town, we got asked to help out one summer night with sound when the outdoor patio & stage was Fresh and New & the sound guy that night either called off, or was a No-call/no Show.
Unfortunately, There's a clear indication that the owner, cares more about the atmosphere of the music side of the business, more-so than the restaurant business. I've witnessed being both a guest, & a customer, and it's like night & day. Nepotism at its finest.

I personally didnt try any food but most of the people I went out with ordered food and they all seemed pretty satisfied. Atmosphere is awesome, love the outdoor area and the outdoor stage for entertainment. Service was very slow though, the outdoor bar has a 4 sided bar but only 2 bartenders working at a time, this made it very hard to get a drink in a timely fashion. It took almost 10 mins to get a drink which takes away from the live show.

Was there with my daughter and her friends along with my girlfriend and her friend. Some drunk girl come up to me and tells to take my hands of my lady friends. I tell her to back off. Bouncer comes over and ask me to leave which I did. 15 minutes after I left my daughter got punched in the face from the same girl that got in my face. They have no clue how to do crowd control. Would never go there again.

The house favorite Whiskey River Burger was awesome. Between the garlic aeoli, bacon, roll, crumbly blue and hand made patty. I would put this burger up against any Rochester burger. Our server Rosie was perfect. We will be back. Annie and I love this place.

Our dinners were very disappointing. We've had much better at other competitors. We ordered the bbq pulled pork & chicken dinners. The bbq pulled pork was good but needed more sauce. The pulled chicken was extremely dry and also needed more bbq sauce, as well. The corn was mushy & seasoned terribly. I couldn't eat it. Our soda refills were flat & the server gave it to us anyways. Machine were being changed out, but by the time it was done, we were just about ready to leave. I'm sorry to say that it just wasn't a good experience.
