Wow! The Bolognese was perfection in a bowl, good sauce to pasta ratio, the portion of meat was tender and flavorful. The fresh pasta was cooked beautifully.

The salad was well dressed and so tasty. The artichokes are a great addition to this simple salad.

Purchased some pasta to come home with to cook myself, I cannot wait.

So many other items on the menu that looked great from what others ordered around us, can wait to come back and try more.

Check this place out!

I’ve been really wanting a more casual place for unique delicious food in Roc and this is it! Love that they offer half-bottle wine portions and we could sit and enjoy our meal despite being a counter-service place. Portions are an amazing value for the quality you get.

Can’t say enough good things. A surprising find in Rochester. Great quality, fantastic food, smart dishes that don’t default to Italian American cliches. On top of all that the prices are incredibly reasonable - two pastas, a “small” (actually pretty large) salad, and half a bottle of wine for just over $50. Seasonal updates as well? What a dream. It’s going to be hard to go anywhere else.

Surprisingly delicious Italian food. Was not expecting it to be so flavorful. Getting there around 5pm beats the rush, gets a great table selection. Not a fancy dressup place, but has fancy dressup-like quality food with great prices. We highly recommend!

Saw this place recommended on reddit and man it did not disappoint... I think the meatball cutlet sandwich was the best sandwich I have ever and will ever have. Everything was delicious 10/10.

Lovely little spot in North Winton Village with a small but mighty menu. Everything is fresh and delicious....I LOVE the meatball cutlet panini and the farmers lettuce salad. The pasta is homemade. Don't skip lunch or dinner here when they are open! Indoor and outdoor seating, small parking lot but usually space on Winton Rd if it fills.

If you’ve been spoiled by big city food and are struggling to find flavor in Rochester - THIS PLACE IS IT. Delicious! My wife and I were so happy after our first bites. It’s Italian food, but light. Not the kind that makes you feel sluggish afterwards. The dessert was great, too (made elsewhere). The setup here is smart - no servers, so the food is more affordable. It could easily be fine dining, but the atmosphere is more laid back.

Food was great. We ordered a pizza and two past dishes and enjoyed them both. Took a bit to order since they seemed to be short staffed but once we got the food it was worth the wait.

Delicious, fresh, unexpected. An intimate experience. The spaghetti with summer squash, fennel, almonds and terragon was a real delight.

Super good and lesser-known spot in Rochester. Their sourdough pizza slices are phenomenal and pasta specials are great too. Prices are good for what you get but depending on when you go it can be quite hard to get a table right away. That being said, the food takes a bit to come out so it’s worth the wait. Will keep coming back here.

First time here but definitely won't be the last. Homemade pasta and sandwiches on homemade fococcia - yes please!!! I had the gnocchi and my hubby the cutlet sandwich- both were very good. The farmers salad with artichokes and crouton crumbles crunch- was so good I've thought about it several times since. Hubby said the homemade ice cream was fantastic. very casual atmosphere - order at the counter and eat where you want inside or out. Great little place!

The food was delicious, the service was fine. I didn't care for the cafeteria-style layout of the place, where you take a number and pick up your food after they call your number. It was a minor annoyance that didn't detract too much from the overall experience. The food was definitely worth it.
