Excellent fish fry and calamari appetizer. Wife got Artichokes French for dinner and liked them too. Good portions. Was busy on Friday night, but staff hustled and made our visit very enjoyable.

We love Yanni's. People are so nice. Family owned since 1988. Great food. Very clean. One of the better places to eat around here.

Firstly the positives....clean, friendly staff, large portions and our waitress was so outstanding and attentive I almost felt guilty for leaving her a 35% tip! The downside was the clams casino appetizer I ordered. $9.00 for 5 miniscule clams (not even a half dozen??) that was comprised of 90% dry stale tasting bread crumbs and a tiny clam cemented to the bottom shell. Management would be well advised to either eliminate this travesty from the menu or find a better replacement to offer. I know there are much better suppliers that offer wonderful prepared clams casino they can procure to fix this abhorrition! And PLEASE Yannis', NEVER FIVE. Always 6 or an even dozen. I would like to return to try their other appetizers but am afraid to after this clams casino experience.

I had never been here before so I thought it might be worth a shot. The place was crowded so it must be pretty popular, we had no wait to be seated, though. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff was very friendly. The food was ok. Nothing to write home about, but not bad. The price was reasonable. I feel like everything was under seasoned. I had a NY strip which was cooked perfectly, but a little bland. The marinara sauce was also lacking a little love, too. Now, all that said, the coffee and desserts are out of this world. I really enjoyed the end of the meal the most. This is a place where you can get a decent meal and I'll definitely come back again. I've learned over time to go to a place at least twice in case you just hit a bad day. It wasn't bad, and it's very affordable. Desserts are definitely the highlight.

We stopped in for lunch and were able to be seated right away. We were a party of 5, which included a 16 year old and a 9 year old. The atmosphere is very peaceful and relaxing. The decor is nice. The staff was very courteous. We were there during lunch hours, so we ordered chicken BLT Club w sweet potatoe fries, Turkey Club, and 3 different cheeseburgers. The burgers were cooked perfectly, even the 9 year old liked it, which can be a hard task sometimes. There was enough food so everyone was stuffed, but hardly anything was left over for taking home. I was impressed w the chicken BLT club. I typically get theTurkey, but I think the chicken might be my new fave. Tommy, the chef in the back, does a wonderful job. I have recently eaten there before, for breakfast, and I have never been disappointed. It is a gem in the Gates community. It's family owned and has been since 1988 (I think). I would def go there again. It is a setting where anyone can enjoy. Personally, I have had everything from club sandwiches, to burgers, to eggs, pancakes etc... I have always walked away happy. I would recommend it if you were going with elderly parents or children...or for some of us, both!

Food was mediocre. I had the Gnocchi which was slightly undercooked and the sauce was nothing spectacular. For $14.95, it was greatly overpriced. The service, however, was excellent. Our waitress (Lauren or Laura?) was personable and attentive.

Dinner was delicious. I had the veal Parmigiano and my wife the Lasagna. Salads with honey mustard. Sauce was really good. Brought some pasta home for another meal. We will be back. Highly recommend this place. It's nice inside too..

Relaxing atmosphere, reasonable prices, and a surprisingly large menu. We stopped here for lunch before a movie, and weren’t disappointed. ?

The first time I went with my daughter and best friend over 8 years ago. The server was outstanding and made an oragami rose for each of us out of a serviette napkin and the chef decided to make custom crab cakes that night that weren't on the menu. they were so good we just kept ordering those appetizers repeatedly for dinner instead of dinner. The 2nd and last time was a week later where everything was still frozen. Bland, tasteless, unspiced, unsalted. If I wanted frozen food heated up in a microwave, I can do that at home. I think the chef was allowed to actually cook the first night. Maybe his bosses were away. Maybe they should let the chef cook! In the 1970's, going to a restaurant meant the woman of the house didnt have to cook. Now, there's actual restaurant competition because people want something they cannot create at home. You guys have to up your game especially post Covid. So, to be fair, I haven't been here since the fires and remodeling. It was legitimately over 7.75 years ago In 2013. They're still around so , I assume that they just have done something right in the past 8 years but I'm admittedly unwilling to find out again.
