We stopped at Yummy Garden Restaurant on 2411 Henrietta Blvd while passing through Rochester on a road trip and we’re so glad we did! The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and the service was excellent from start to finish. I ordered the Basil Noodle, and it was absolutely perfect flavorful, fresh, and cooked to perfection. We only wish there was a Yummy Garden closer to home we’d be regulars for sure. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Looked very appealing. Nice menu. We ordered for takeout. Rude front counter person. Food- tasteless. We threw it out. Wonton broth...warm water..no color or flavor, as the same with lo mein and steamed dumplings. Scallion pancakes (2 pieces) greasy and floppy. Sausecwas paste, not brown sauce. HORRIBLE WASTEFUL experience. I do mot recommend.

Ordered food through grubhub. Food delivered hot...even egg roll! Kung pao chicken was delicious and huge portion...had 3 meals. Hot and sour soup ok, could be spicier and maybe some meat, like chicken, shrimp...

This place is close to where I work , Try to eat here 3 times. The food was okay one of the three. The flavor of the food is good , but the texture of the food is not good to the point we couldn't eat it ! The sesame chicken , General soe chicken , the chicken is really tough !I believe they cook the chicken ahead of time and reheat at the time of the order . We got a shrimp dish that tasted like Chemicals as well .

NO SOUP FOR YOU!We have been going to Hot Pot/ Yummy Garden for many years. Sadly much has changed, and unfortunately not for the better. We took friends this past Sunday and were not permitted to order both Hot Pot and Chinese food.I would imagine you are as stymied as I am. Apparently some folks were sharing the Hot Pot and like when we were kids in school EVERYONE GETS PUNISHED INSTEAD OF THE OFFENDERS.If thats not bad enough, high prices and an automatic 15% gratuity charge! I would imagine that is to help out the very weak service.Our service was abysmal! We ordered our drinks and kept asking for them and they finally came after we finished dinner. The bubble Tea never arrived with no apology except to let us know we were not charged for it. We never saw our server Jacob after we placed the order, period! And we have to leave this joker 15%!!!There are signs threatening 15.00 charge and other rules making you feel as though your in the Peoples Republic of China rather than the good old USA.
Worst hotpot ever. Never have I ever spit out my food before.

Yummy Garden is an excellent Hot Pot experience. The server we had was absolutely wonderful and extremely attentive. The hot pot was astounding. I personally had the spicy pot and it was flavorful and soaked perfectly into all of the ingredients I had to cook. I brought two friends who had never had hot pot before and the staff was very helpful in suggesting options for them for a first time broth as well as how to cook the food. My personal favorite touch was there are two signs, one that had a sauce suggestion chart and another that has a time suggestion for cooking each ingredient in your hot pot. I highly recommend this for anyone who is curious about hot pot or has had hot pot before and looking for an enjoyable experience.

Walked in didn't feel comfortable. Felt like a diner. No atmosphere . Won't be back. 15%mandatory tip. Would have left more. But now I know why it's mandatory I'm sure they get stiffed often.
