Came to visit this place for the first time and I live close. And all I can say is it’s great . A great pizza place in rockaway! The atmosphere is great, it looks like the workers enjoy doing their job. They were very friendly + the service was extremely quick. I myself tried a plain slice and garlic knots and was very surprised with just how good it was. Will definitely come by many more times in the future. Please come try!

Elegante Pizzeria on Rockaway Blvd is the quintessential neighborhood Italian spot, offering more than just great food—it's a local institution. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Cheese and Pepperoni Pie. It was a perfect example of classic New York pizza: the crust was delightfully thin and had a wonderfully crisp undercarriage that held up beautifully to the generous, fresh mozzarella.
The pepperoni was premium, cupping slightly and delivering that perfect salty-spicy kick against the tangy tomato sauce. Every bite had a satisfying crunch and chew.
Beyond the pizza, Elegante maintains a warm, family-friendly atmosphere with genuinely friendly staff. With an extensive menu including comforting pasta like the highly-rated Penne a La Vodka, it’s a full Italian experience. For anyone in Far Rockaway craving that signature NY pizza taste, Elegante stands true to the test of time. A five-star pie!

Pizza is great. Price is criminal. $8+ for 2 plain slices? That's not even city prices SMH. Don't get me wrong the pizza is on point. Specialities too. I personally liked the sesame seed covered chicken roll and buffalo pinwheel. I guess it is more Italian restaurant than pizzeria?

We have been taking out from Elegante for as long as I can remember. Great food Great everything. While joking around , we promised to buy our workers a pepperoni pizza when the Mets win the series. So we called up and asked and Elegante delivered!!

Ordered on seamless and straight never got my food - if you’re hungry and want something at a reasonable time don’t even think about this spot. Lady on phone was nice enough but didn’t make up for the frustration. Had to cancel and drive to Gino’s instead
