I’m officially writing this place off. My boyfriend and I began frequenting this place about 6 months ago. At first, we thought it was wonderful. Everything we ordered was top notch, and at such good prices. But then more times than not, the woman behind the counter made me feel uncomfortable with her attitude. I don’t know what I ever did, but I felt like my presence was an inconvenience to her. I figured this was just who she was as a person. But I was always patient, kind, smiled, said please & thank you and tipped when I ordered. Then we began to notice that I was being charged more for the exact same things, even though I would pay cash and he would always use his card. Between the attitude and being charged several dollars more for anything semi customized, it got to the point where I felt that I couldn’t go in there. If we were to order from there, my boyfriend needed to go. We also had too many occasions where we got REALLY stupid errors with our food. One time I ordered chicken cutlet on a hero with vodka sauce, broccoli rabe, mozzarella & prosciutto. We got home to see they put like salsa or pico on the hero and no prosciutto or broccoli rabe. When we ordered something with avocado, they would put this watery avocado salsa/guacamole instead. When ordering things with bacon, the bacon was drippppping with grease. Then today, their specials had a “Dirty Reuben”. The specials did not have a description. When asked what it was, it was said to be a Reuben on a knish with gravy. After getting home, it turned out to be corned beef, sautéed onions, French fries and ketchup on a hero. Maybe it would have been edible with Russian dressing, but ketchup? The sandwich was so gross. I ended up just peeling the meat off and eating that. It’s a shame because this place can be so great, but between the inconsistency of the food and the aurora of the older black woman behind the counter, its to the point where it’s not worth the gamble.

Came here to get some quick bites before hitting the beach but there was quite a crowd inside so I assumed the wait would be a while. We got the Italian Combo & Chipotle Chicken w/ Avocado on heroes (I don’t really remember the name but it was a daily special that day) and we loved it so much!! I love an Italian sandwich and this place made the best one I’ve ever had. Sandwiches were packed to the brim. If it wasn’t so out of the way for me, I would definitely visit at least once a week.

Used to be great. Overrun by hoodrats and human garbage. Was told at 7pm that the guy has been "making sandwiches all day" and didn't want to make mine. They close at 8PM. GARBAGE.
Please don’t eat at this deli I called them today letting them know that the cold Cole was not good and the sandwich was not tasty I was so sick I went to the hospital they said I had food poisoning from eating at this place I called the deli to let them know and was told that they changed their Cold cole every two days and I pick the wrong day

Bought 3 sandwiches and honestly it was the worst sandwiches ever. My child said the same and my neighbor. It was one for each. I've Bought sandwiches from there before and they were good but lately it ain't the same. I'd rather go to Pickles and Pies.
