Bought 3 sandwiches and honestly it was the worst sandwiches ever. My child said the same and my neighbor. It was one for each. I've Bought sandwiches from there before and they were good but lately it ain't the same. I'd rather go to Pickles and Pies.

Service sucks the behind the counter people are slow as hell. They really went down hill. You'll wait and wait until your order is ready and it's not exactly what you ordered. They hire any moron who knows nothing about prices or ingredients. I have walked out on that dirty place. I'm not waiting so I go to beach channel bagels is the best we have and barista on beach 116 boardwalk bagels makes an ass kicking meals from breakfast to lunch and dinner it's a grade A deli

The chicken cutlet on a hero was the most terrible sandwich I had. Tasted like nothing, they only put mozzarella cheese and just the chicken cutlets with nothing else on it(no seasonings), and the price were incredibly expensive and now my stomach is hurting and I feel like throwing up right now.

Long-time community deli that has been around as long as I can remember. Always a great spot to stop in get some cold cuts or great sandwiches or salads. Don't forget your breakfast sandwich in the morning.

Since I'm originally from Rockaway Beach, NYC (Far Rock), I've been occasionally getting my fix from this landmark eatery for a very long time. If you're ever on the peninsula, I suggest you stop on in to tend to your growling tummy, my unknown friend ???!

I love this little place! At 6:45am in a desolate location, are people expect fine dining from here? They have never failed me, ever, and I go here before work. I once ordered a bruschetta hero & it was excellent. I have seen them serve many others at the same hour & all patrons leave happy. Great place.

Great beach spot to get all types of sandwiches and snacks. It's very open and clean. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommend if you're in the area of the Rockaways.

Working at the Verizon building down the road. ordered two sandwiches, both came out wrong. Ham Swiss mustard. got ham Swiss MayoBLT with egg came without BaconThe guy making sandwiches was also stuffing his face. Food was tasty but a lack of attention to detail.Check before leaving.
I got a regular turkey hero it was just wet for some reason, the bread was pretty much soggy and the options for snacks were very limited. Not to mention my friend getting a chicken cutlet and it tasting dry, and frozen, Not fresh and tasted like it had been sitting there all day.

101 deli is a staple in the Rockaway peninsula. The heros are nice and big and very tasty. The grill cheese is top notch.

Usually I do not buy lunches or anything in this area due to not having any halal food options. I went another time at 101 Deli and I think I picked up ginger ale or something else. Today I went causally just to check in what I can get for lunch. Looked carefully what they have and thought about getting salad ? but then decided to pick up a breakfast item (cinnamon raisin bagel toasted with scrambled egg). The bagel is pretty good and the salad ? (e.g., Veggies in Season) is my kinda taste and I am happy with it. However, the mixed Olive was so so so salty that I had to separate them. The broccoli ? taste was great as well as seasonal mix of veggies.

This place is terrible, I went for a job there, i trained for like 2 days and then they never got back to me, the food is expensive and it's not even good, I'd give them 0 stars but sadly I can't, eat here if you like eating trash overpriced food, also it's all gossip there, most people who work there take from the register so I'd find a better job personally

Nasty, expensive & SLOW! Took 20 mins for a regular turkey hero and paid about $15.. they use the lowest grade of deli meat there is.Local bodega makes the same sandwich with BOARS HEAD TURKEY for 7$ and it’s ready in 5 mins and it’s DELICIOUS.
