First time there even tho I've been living in Far Rockaway for almost 20 years!I ordered the sliders & wings. My food was delicious and tasted just as good the next day( leftovers). Alyssa was our server, and she was a sweetheart! Courteous and professional. I didn't take pictures of my food but I will be back!

Pickle lovers, order extra! Yes the burger presentation is great as others have mentioned but for pickle lovers, you WILL appreciate their homemade, spicy pickles.

Happy Jack's is a smaller bar that is located on the quieter western side of the Rockaway Beach boardwalk. I went with a group of 4 people. Three of us had their burgers and thought they were top notch. The burger is only average size but it was very juicy. The fourth person had the "Gallagher's Harbor Special". It was a cold cut sandwich with roasted beef that I do not recommend, as the sandwich was very dry.They have a decent menu of beers, wine, and cocktails as well, which we indulged in. Combined with the friendly waitstaff, our experience here was very positive.

On Wednesday, December 27th I went to Happy Jack's with my parents for dinner. We ordered two Classic Happy Jack burgers and one Smokin' Jack. Before we even paid, my dad already began to feel queasy. All three of us got violently sick later that evening. We called Happy Jack's the next night to let them know. We didn't want anything in return for our call, just to prevent other people from getting sick. The phone was abruptly answered and it was so loud Alyssa needed to stand outside. I explained the situation, to which she responded, "Let me get my manager". The manager answered, "Ugh...I'll call you back soon". We never received a phone call back. Absolutely terrible customer service. We will not be in any rush to return.

The visit was on Nov 4, 2023 - We have returned here for the second time since last year. We come since our daughter is involved in playing basketball games with her team. We found this place last time while looking for anything open, as it was late the first time we came. The place is cozy and welcoming for sure. We are a family of four and the kids were hungry and so were we. The menu is clean and offers nice choices to suit all of us. Our server back then was delightful, and the food came out hot, quick, and yummy. Fast forward to this past Saturday and again with pleasure, we went looking for Happy Jack's. The quality of the food was truly great, we had Jason as our Server and he was friendly and super helpful. The food that we ordered was again amazing, the French Onion Soup-Fantastic, the burgers juicy and fresh, as well as the onion rings, all of our food choices were great and very filling. The cherry on the Sunday was the last homemade lemon cake, that we all loved. For great, fresh food taken care of by an awesome staff, look no further. Happy Jack's is our staple whenever we come to the Rockaways. Thank you and enjoy!

Good, pleasent and fast service. Paying easy and all accepted methods. Ordered a Salad with roasted chicken - tasted very good. Was sitting outside in the covered area at the street. Good shadowed. Cannot say something about inside.

We flooded this bar during a rain storm today. some of the patrons sitting the bar were grumpy towards us. However- The staff and service were incredible.Thank you for taking us in and serving us delicious drinks and possibly the best nachos we’ve ever had.

This place is conveniently located next to the ferry and train, and service is fast. The food is just alright and the bartenders are all questionably young.. but it's still one of the better spots in the area.

I revisted after several years and was pleased. The food was very good and priced fair The servers were excellent.The pizza was really good! The Burger was excellent as well. Fish Taco was good and I thankful for not frying the fish.The coffee was freshly roasted. This place is a gem.
