The food at Abu Zayn was delicious! Everything was fresh, tasty, and full of flavor. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Great authentic Egyptian food and definitely a place I’d recommend. I’ll be coming back!
Been there quite a few times and the food is delish— and consistent
I placed a catering order last week at Abu Zayn for a house party I was hosting. It was the first time I ordered from here. The food was delicious and the customer service was excellent. Omar personally handled my order and went above and beyond to make sure everything turned out well. In fact, I accidentally forgot to indicate that I needed the order to be delivered, and realized it while I had a house full of guests. Abu Zayn is a restaurant serving delicious and amazing quality food that is flavorful, juicy, tender, fresh, and clean tasting. The menu includes absolutely delicious items like Falafel, Chicken Shawarma, Chicken Kofta, beef kofta, a lamb platter, a chicken shawarma bowl, a lamb kebab pita, and a mixed shawarma bowl. The family platter is a generous portion and offers great value. Meals come with sides such as cucumber salad, fries, pita, hummus, and spicy pickled veggies. The dips, including the abu zayn sauce and tahini, are very fresh. The pita bread has a nice texture.
The service is great, with staff described as absolutely wonderful, friendly, helpful, prompt, and kind. The decor inside is beautiful with a superb mural. The place itself is small where you order at the counter, but there are tables for dining in. The overall experience feels nostalgic, like home-cooked food, and transports some diners right back to Egypt. It is a really tasty spot with great bang for your buck, highly recommended for a delicious meal.
