There was no one to greet us when we walked into the establishment. Another customer went next-door to get the chef who went in the back of the part of the restaurant we were in to get some of the workers. The fish had absolutely no taste and if it did it was salty. The rum punch tasted like lime and white rum. When we complained about it we were offered another one which tasted the exact same way however we just said it was okay. The first time I went there was years ago but today will be my last. As a Jamaican I am very disappointed.

Amazing!! We had to wait a little while for the food, but it was definitely worth it! We had the jerk salmon, ribs, lamb chops & jerk chicken. Everything was 10/10!

Authentic Jamaican food. The curry goat and oxtail was on point The ambiance was laid-back with nice cultural music in the background. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Our waitress Was new her first day. Chenel if I'm not mistaken. She was excellent. Very attentive and if she didn't know something she would go clarify. She was the best thing throughout the meal. The best thing I had was the vegetable spring rolls. Otherwise my grilled jerk salmon was under seasoned I asked for the seasoned vegetables all I got was some steamed string beans and carrots (no seasoning at all just dry). My partner ordered the jerk chicken with rice and vegetables and peas horrible everything was dry. Rice was not fresh at all. I'm from a Caribbean household and that food did not come close to any Jamaican restaurant I've been to. The chef need to change. Or learn to season the food properly. That salmon only had the jerk taste on the outside nothing on the inside. That could have been seasoned prior to so it can seep in. For my first time there and it was recommended I wouldn't try it again.

I went there for my birthday and I was very pleased. The food was really good. The drinks were really good. I went there last night on a date night and it was excellent. I enjoy going to Dunns River. I love the food love the music.

This was my first visit to Dunns River Lounge, and I look forward to returning. The staff that I interacted with was warm and attentive. All of the dishes were impeccable - from the presentation to the taste.

Visited Dunn's River lounge for the first time with hubby for my 45th birthday, and it did not disappoint! It was a very busy night, so it was understandable that the staff were busy as well, but the food and drinks were spot on. Music was on point, hubby and I just wished that we could dance. Overall, a great experience!

My family and friend visited Dunns River Restaurant in Rockville Center for the first time and we all fell in love with location, our server Ramona and the food. The food and the portion size was on point. We had the Jerk pork, Oxtail, steam Snapper (corn, yam etc...) and escovitch Snapper. With rice and peas, bammy, perfect sweet plantain, string peas and carrot. Oh I forgot about the appetizer, Ackee & salt fish, BBQ wings and the spring rolls. OMG! Everything was sooo good. Nuff respect to the chef and kitchen team! Our server, Ramona paid attention to our every detail. Much appreciated.

We've been eating at Dunn's for many years now and we always enjoy the friendly service and delicious meals. Live music never disappoints and this is a rare Jamaican gem 💎. You can't help feeling you're eating in the islands. Make a reservation because they are popular especially on the weekend.

Delicious food full of flavor , unique satisfying cocktails , and professional service . Will be definitely be coming back with friends . Nick is a class act made our experience truly special .

We had a great time celebrating our daughter's 6th grade graduation. The waitress was very nice, food was timely and delish, the drinks always super yummy, and accommodating since we came 45 mins earlier. Thank you again!

Despite the wet raining day, the Father's Day dinner was great. The food and drinks were delicious. The music was on point just a bit loud hard to talk over it. Setting was pleasing to the eyes. Servers were warm and accomendating .

The food and service was amazing! I recommend this restaurant to everyone. The oxtails are so good I came back a few days later and ordered them again!
