Extremely rude and unprofessional staff. The pizza that was out on the counter looked like it had been from when they first opened, dry and disgusting. When the rude grumpy bald man went to ring me up he asks “cash or card” i let him know i’m
paying by card and he motions for me to tap the card reader. I ask him “is the total $82??” (i only got two slices) and he abruptly throws up his arms and starts yelling at another female there who must of left an order in the system and didn’t cash out. It is extremely disappointing seeing the way the bald man conducted himself. If you do choose to visit this location; be sure to get an itemized receipt and don’t expect any common courtesy from the counter staff. 0/5 stars !

Their fresh cheesecake, tiramisu, and chicken Cesar wraps are the best on the island, for a gourmet pizza place. Every specialty slice is beyond exceptional. The dinners are not only large, but rich, and the highest quality ingredients. Garlic knots and zeppoles are also fresh, crispy, and honestly a meal on their own. LOVE this place

Appreciation post!!!

Yesterday was so much fun. My life came full circle and I got to chaperone a field trip to Pompeii Pizzeria !!!

I actually had the letter of working at this establishment many many moons ago! Vinny Vincent-Catherine Prestigiacomo does this field trip at no cost to the parents and opens the restaurant four hours so he could teach 21st graders how to make a pizza!!!
Each kiddo received a Pompei T-shirt so they didn’t get their clothes messy. They’re very own mini pizza box with their name on it and somebody took a great deal of time cutting pepperoni in each child’s initials so that they were sure to get the exact pizza that they made.

if you use Pompei for your regular go to Friday night Pizza you need to because this is a family establishment that gives back to the community and has hands-down the best pizza not to mention rice balls!

Thank you Vinny, and the staff at Pompeii for all you do!

These guys were running very smooth on a Friday night. With a full oven of to-go pies, and a few dozen online pick-ups they still had a nice selection of slices. Garlic knots looked tremendous. Presentation of sauce and cheese was alternating instead of layered on Sicilian pies. Very good overall slices. The service was atypically smooth. You could just tell nobody was stressed when it was very busy. That's a testament to knowing what you are doing.

$30 for one of the saddest meatball pies I have ever had. It has completely gone downhill from what it used to be. Domino’s serves better pizza at this point. Only a matter of time before this establishment becomes just another vacant building.

Great slices. Mushroom slice was incredible, make sure to get it super hot. Eggplant parmigiana was fantastic as well. The slices here hit the spot.

I went in right after they opened, seen a veggie pie so I ask for a slice, they snuck yesterday’s veggie slice in my bag,I drove to far to go back, had to throw it out. Know the practice of working in pizzerias so I know they rather make a buck then make a customer happy.
