New to the area. Sung Wo was highly recommended and it did not disappoint.

Decent chinese food. The ribs were good, the general tsaos extra spicy, but the dumplings weren't very good...mushy in a mediocre brown sauce

The best Chinese food in the Rocky Point area. Restaurant has been there for years. Never a bad meal. The vegetable eggrolls are unique & a nice option for vegetarians. Cold Sesame Noodles are the best I've ever had. Totally recommend!
Nice combination platter pepper steak with fried rice. Egg roll very good ?

This place is so good ! My go to is the fried beef dumplings, it comes with a dipping sauce. The sauce and the meaty dumplings do not compare to any I’ve had lately. Location of restaurant is in kohls shopping plaza. Oh and the chicken and broccoli my other favorite, the ABSOLUTE BEST !! I’m very picky with my chicken and let me tell you , amazing every time !!

To be honest, the food at this place can be hit or miss, and unfortunately, today it missed the mark. I ordered the Hunan style dish (beef or chicken, I believe), but it didn't meet my expectations. While the beef and some of the vegetables were decent, the overall taste fell short. The excessive saltiness was overwhelming, and the quality of the corn seemed subpar, likely frozen. Additionally, some smaller vegetables tasted odd; perhaps the corn affected my palate. Despite this, the service was commendable, although the restaurant was bustling, typical for a night with the Chinese food craze. Regarding prices, they're alright, though there's room for improvement - I've seen better deals elsewhere.
Parking: So many parking spaces, don't worry lol.
Kid-friendliness: ?, I mean they have their own kids there and it's fine.
Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot spaces

Went in (mostly) blind as we just moved to the area and only went off of totally mixed reviews from here — glad we took a shot because everything was delicious! Pork lo mein had a smoky flavor that I love and the dumplings and wontons tasted like the dough is homemade. This also made the wonton soup taste so homey it hit the spot. Cheese crab wontons were pretty good, sesame chicken was super crispy! My only thing is that the steamed dumplings didn’t come with any kind of dipping sauce. But for the quality of the food and the kind service I can do without it! We will be back :)

When I first moved to LI, my moving truck was late and I had no kitchen items or ingredients to cook with. I felt like I was in a strange, unfamiliar place, but coming to Sung Wo was a very pleasant experience and helped me feel more at home in this area. The food is good, but what was really excellent was the kindness of the staff and the feeling of eating in the restaurant. If you are looking to have Chinese food for dinner, or lunch, I recommend Sung Wo. They gave me so much food I ended up having leftovers for multiple meals!

They make THE BEAT SOUPS!!! I wasn’t fond of the entrees. But I travel from PJ to get their soups! Wonton eggdrop mixed and chicken noodle!! Love them.

House special mei fun turned my wife's face red. She only has this reaction with low quality seafood (3rd time in her life)...but I figured this could be just her and I chalked it up as that until the next morning.I had sesame chicken and fried wontons. I haven't left the bathroom since 5am. We've had Sung Wo before. Usually pretty good tasting Chinese, but now I think they have some freshness and quality issues. Throwing away the leftovers. This was actually their second strike for us. Not too long ago we ordered mei fun with medium spice and it was inedible. My wife wanted a little spicy, I like very spicy and it was too much for me. Figured we'd try again and now this. 2 better options in Rocky Point that I will be getting myself if not on doordash. Never ordering Sung Wo again.
Great take out spot, Chen is a friendly cashier to chat with who has worked their five years. Arguably the best Chinese spot in Rocky Point!
