Sugarbeets Reviews
Absolutely amazing evening! Me and my wife Mary went to try this place out after hearing our friends rave reviews. Amazing staff, awesome decor, and the food? Second to none. Glad to have this place right down the road from home!!! Our waitress Jenna was fantastic and super sweet!
Amazing dinner. The staff were very efficient, accommodating, and very nice. Met the owner too. Highly recommend Sugar Beets .
They have a tastefully new twist on known dishes. We had the Fried Calamari, delicious, Fried Cheese Curd and the Arancini, very flavorful. Chicken Parmigiana, huge portion and Chicken Marsala with a nice bacon twist. The warm Sugarbeets Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream on top is to die for. A place where you can definitely have a relaxed sit down, flavorful dinner. Thank you chef A.

Sugarbeets is a charming restaurant located in Rome, offering a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional food. The converted house setting provides high-top tables at the bar and cozy tables with real linens in the back. The extensive wine and liquor menu complements the small but varied food offerings, including Lobster Bisque, Fried Calamari, Fried Artichoke with Prosciutto, Chicken Marsala, and Miss Jenny (their take on Eggplant Parmigiana). Customers have praised the quick and friendly service, delicious food, and great cocktails like the Jesse's Mule. The service is friendly and attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable. Diners have recently enjoyed the Pork tenderloin and Porkchop with fiddleheads, as well as the Chicken Piccata with flavorful risotto. New reviews highlight the swordfish and risotto as a tender and flavorful choice, along with shrimp scampi and scallops that were described as spot on. The chef is praised, and the overall experience is described as phenomenal, with a relaxed atmosphere where easy conversation is possible. Although some customers noted challenges with staffing and delays, the owner was present and working hard to ensure a positive experience. The tiramisu has also received high praise. Whether passing through Rome or a local resident, Sugarbeets is a must-visit restaurant that won't disappoint.
