I was stationed at Griffis AFB in Rome back in 93-94...was my absolute favorite place to eat...the lasagna was the best I'd ever had. I'm in Vegas now, but I'd go back to Rome just to visit this place again...
My mom used to eat here in the late '40s when she lived in Rome. I use to eat here when I lived in Rome in the '70s while stationed at Griffiss AFB. I was in Rome a week ago, I had to go back. The food, the service were excellent. it hasn't changed the decore was like it was 40+ years ago, and that's what makes the Savoy what it is. 4 forks up.

We have been patrons of the Savoy for over 20 years. With Covid we have not been going out much. The last time we went to the Savoy was in January 2020. We dined there last night and it was DELICIOUS! I didn’t realize his much I missed this restaurant. Margaret has always been our server but she was not available last night.
