We have been patrons of the Savoy for over 20 years. With Covid we have not been going out much. The last time we went to the Savoy was in January 2020. We dined there last night and it was DELICIOUS! I didn’t realize his much I missed this restaurant. Margaret has always been our server but she was not available last night. Mandy was our server and she did as good a job as Margaret does. I had Penne Orlando and it was one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had!The Savoy has a great ambiance and super employees. If you are looking for a restaurant with ambiance, delicious and plentiful food at reasonable prices I recommend you try the Savoy!!

I was stationed at Griffis AFB in Rome back in 93-94...was my absolute favorite place to eat...the lasagna was the best I'd ever had. I'm in Vegas now, but I'd go back to Rome just to visit this place again...

The food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I both had the Steak Savoy . Was tender and tasty, greens were perfectly seasoned. I recommend this place to anyone.

First time dining with my girlfriend at this restaurant. Our waitress was good. Our food was terrible. Ordered greens for an appetizer which were so bad we asked the waitress to send them back. She took them away promptly and removed them from the bill. I ordered the chicken ricardo, which was okay at best. It tasted like the alfredo sauce was jarred Ragu. The chicken and shrimp were the only things in the dish that was relatively good. My girlfriend ordered chicken parm. Again, chicken was relatively good but the sauce it came it tasted very sour. We both at about a quarter of our meals and did not take the rest to go. $50 before tip. Very disappointed. At least our waitress was good.

My mom used to eat here in the late '40s when she lived in Rome. I use to eat here when I lived in Rome in the '70s while stationed at Griffiss AFB. I was in Rome a week ago, I had to go back. The food, the service were excellent. it hasn't changed the decore was like it was 40+ years ago, and that's what makes the Savoy what it is. 4 forks up.

Our region of the Mohawk Valley has some great old style Dinner Houses, as well as a regional population exposed to far better cuisine than anywhere in Upstate New York. The Savoy is Western Oneida County’s classic! The enduring, dark walls and cozy interior is both unpretentious and old school elegant. The varied menu with some of the old standbys of Italian Steak and Chop House items with a variety of upmarket fusion of the world.it works! Our Appetizers and Entrees were excellent, service sublime...the entire experience made exponentially finer, with area music icon. Pianist Rick Montalbano, ensconced for decades ( weekends) at the ivories as house musician is the signature of a place that deserves it’s ‘Hall of Fame’ in food.

I grew up in Rome, but hadn't been there in 45 years. It was a must that I return to The Savoy where my parents used to take me. The decor, ambience, service and food were as good as I had remembered. As I basked in memories from my childhood, the staff made my experience a personal one. The Savoy remains a landmark that Rome can be proud of!

The service was great, I ordered a steak and greens dish. Ordered the steak med-rare. Was well done. ? and the green were so salty I couldn’t eat them.. and my cocktails tasted like there was no alcohol at all in them. ? I was so disappointed..

The chef is not a good cook. I had gone several times and the quality has floundered. I have spoken to several Romans in the area and they agree as well. Not worth spending time or money there. Plus a little dirty, this was before the pandemic. No excuses!!

Excellent atmosphere, service, and food. Chicken Parm was absolutely delicious as well as the tiramisu that completed the meal. Very charming on the inside and seating is very well set up. Give it a try if you haven't.

Absolutely great dinners. It was our 10 year anniversary and we wanted to try something new. We were not disappointed! Very friendly staff, the food was delicious and the beer was cold. I would highly recommend this place for a great meal. Thank you Savoy for a great dinner and the left overs.
